How long do you need to wait between bonuses for all of these cards? (i.e. how long after canceling one of these if you held them before?) Thanks!
The Chase cards don’t have a time you need to wait. You just cannot have earned the bonus on that particular flavor of the card within the past 24 months,
AMEX cards are one bonus per flavor of the card per lifetime (or something like 6-7 years).
If I just got the 450 fee on my sapphire preferred account and still haven’t spent the 300 travel can I still spend it and get refunded before I cancel card?
Yes
IF I HAVE A HILTON AMEX CARD ALREADY DO I STILL GET THE 100K
If you haven’t had the premium AMEX Hilton Surpass card, you can still get it.
Have you been able to confirm that Amex is taking 12 weeks to post signup bonuses on the Surpass in some cases?
Do any of the Southwest cards not look at the 5-24
No.
I keep avoiding the Amex because I don’t want to block myself from it forever. Is the Hilton considered really good that I should go for it now? Also I see in your comment @dan 6-7 years for Amex. Is that typical?
I don’t see them offering anything better than 100K points and a free anniversary night.
Yes, 6-7 years seems to be typical.
Ok thanks. Just got the card. Will start the 7 year clock:)
Do I have to worry about losing remaining Avios, that were already posted to my BA account, after closing my BA card? Thanks!
No.
I’ve got a SW plus card that I’ve had for at least 5 years. I know Chase is stating that holders of the card aren’t elligible for the offer. So if I sign up for the business SW card am I eligible for the bonus?
You are eligible for bonuses on all 3 Southwest cards.
However you won’t get approved for another consumer Plus card unless you close it first.
