I received an email on my Delta reserve card offering $100 credit upon renewal
What’s the streaming music benefit on Amex? If I have Business platinum how do I use it
Read the post?
I have biz platinum, I believe it on the post earlier on in time that there was a streaming credit, but I don’t see it now,
Dan, can you confirm that we don’t get it
Thanks
Only consumer Plat.
As usual, nothing foe the Gold. Blasphemy!
My amex blue cash preferred had a offer for 5 percent off groceries up to $10 statement credit
Is there a difference between Free weekend nights earned with the Hilton Business card vs earned with Surpass (and Aspire)?
Dont all cards renerw in jan?
Erm, no.
my bonvoy business amex annual fee hit a few days ago… didn’t get the credit, called today and wouldn’t apply it.. worth a huca?
My Amex bonvoy business renewed on 4/22. Why in the world should I be excluded from this $50 credit. I called Amex and no dice
Tell them you want to cancel, ask to speak to the retention department and see what they offer you to stay.
Same here mine renewed sometime in April and I’ve been in quarantine since March 15!
Dan, can we get a new/updated post comparing the amex consumer platinum and sapphire reserve cards. Thanks
Thanks for the post, I spoke with amex rep and got a reference number for my conversation, she said my platinum business would get $200 credit and all cards that renewed from 3/1/2020 and on will get it. She confirmed with her Superviser
So nothing for the Preferred ?? 🙁
Why does the plain Green get something but not the plain Gold?
Does anyone know if Google play music qualifies for streaming service?
Is Verizon prepaid (charged monthly by Verizon) eligible for wirless telephone credit on Platinum Consumer card?
Anything for the Green Bsns card?
The $200 credit on the Platinum consumer card is for booking travel on Amex Travel….Why would someone be booking travel when so many places are closed. No cruises until August 1st, etc. Looking more and more that we should cancel this card. Maybe sign up again next year. Just $550 down the drain.
My bonvoy business renewed in mid April, any ideas on how I can get the credit $50?
Was thinking of closing it since I always have the consumer card.. but for $75 maybe I’ll keep it for another year
Dan, is Google play music considered streaming?
Dan, has anybody confirmed that buying stamps online at USPS will qualify to the $20/month statement credit on U.S. purchases for shipping from May through December (Up to $160 back)?
Any answer on this ?
Yes:

How about the gifts on usps.com?
Yes.
@Dan Do you find it odd that Amex has done nothing with the Gold or BGR cards?
Sad, they keep us in the dark.
I have Marriott bonvoy business card and got renewed on. April 8 for $95 so tried getting back the money but no luck I have to cancel by may 7 is there any chance I will get any refund??
So I guess the business platinum is not getting the $20 streaming credit.
My Brilliant consumer card is going to be renewed on May 27th. Any way for me to use the $300 credit towards restaurants? I plan to keep the card after renewal.
My marriot bonvoy business annual fee hit April 7. Does that mean I’m not getting the statement credit?
Does the $300 Bonvoy credit which now works towards purchases at US Restaurant any info if that would include uber eats? Or gift cards to restaurant I.e. buying a gc to Burger King?
Bonvoy does not work for restaurant credits until June.
Realized I didn’t use all 300 Marriott credit, called and they giving statement credit for the remainder.
Can we double dip the restaurant benefit on the Hilton Aspire? I will renew in July.
Sure.
What does it mean targeted offers if my Business card renews before the end of the year will I get the 200 statement credit automatically or do I need to be targeted
Does anybody know of an app that keeps track of all possible offers offered by amex in a alphabetic chart ? Instead to having to scroll on on every card seperetly?
Anyone have experience using this new added benefit with CALM? Or is it just another useless offer….
how would you compare the 12 points per dollar for groceries to the 5% bonus on chase sapphire?
12 points per dollar??!! And what’s calm??
I assume HBO Max will qualify too, once it comes out on 5/27 and HBO Now migrates over.
For my business platinum, Amex rep claims it’s either the shipping credit or the wireless credit, not both. Anyone had such experience?
It’s both, I’ve used them.
I TOOK A LOOK AT THE CALM OFFER AND ALL OF A SUDDEN I HAVE A MEMBERSHIP EMAL. I AM NOT INTERESTED IN THIS AT ALL AND CAN NOT FIND A CUSTOMER SERVICE PHONE NUMBER. HELP!
Whos EMAL?
CALM‘S EMAIL
Google “cookies” and read the posts that are not edible.
Wow you seem really stressed from all this. Have you thought about using the free Calm offer?
If I downgrade to the green card will I get the $10 wireless credit?
$20 credit worked for a $25 Verizon gift card.
$20 credit worked for a Verizon gift card.
Too bad chase isn’t following… I just canceled my United airlines business card because they didn’t allow to postpone my annual fee till the airline is back to normal operation.
I just chatted with a rep and he offered a 1 month deferral on payment which means a saving on interest (about $300) is that good or will it affect my credit!?
How can I get Bingo Grocery to be listed as a grocery as opposed to Wholesale? I made a huge order and it’s only giving me 2x points as opposed to the 6x
There are no cards that give six times for wholesale. Bingo with a wholesale store not a grocery store
Bingo is a regular grocery store why are they listed as wholesale? They’re not like Costco that most things are cases or packages of a number of the same item.
They call themselves a wholesale store, presumably to make people think they’re getting a bargain.
Business Centurion has a 50% point rebate on airfare. What about the Personal Centurion?
Why no gold card?
I have a free night a year for my Bonvoy consumer card. Are they likely to swap that for a statement credit if I ask?
The USPS website doesn’t allow an account to be created. Any other way to use the shipping credit to buy stamps?
Go to your nearest post office. It has a self serve kiosk that sells stamps
Is the welcome offer on Delta credit cards for a $50/100 statement credit after spending on Delta, being extended an extra 3 months?
@Dan, if I have a Amex Platinum Consumer card and haven’t used any streaming credits yet can I still get credited for the past?
With Yoni’s advice here, was able to use airline credit on seat choices on Alaska for flight i cancelled with no penalty and now have the flight and seats dollars in my Alaska Wallet for use until July 21. Very good way to get the airline credit from Amex on Alaska. Got the $200 off Dell plus 10% from dell and 10% from Amex for Bose 700 bringing effective after tax price down to approx $160 from approx $440. Gotta get the stamps next.
May it work for American Airlines also?
Do you have to go through dell.com/amex to get the $100 credit (which is now $200)?
Or is that only for the 10% off with the offer?
Or will the 10% offer work on dell.com alone as well?
Both work on Dell.com
Thank you so much for the quick response!
Im trying to sign up for the Calm benefit, using my DH’s Amex Platinum bus card, but im getting a response that “there was an error charging the card” i know for sure the card is paid and has plenty…..of credit. anyone get that message? Ill also try it again from another computer, the filter on this one sometimes makes me trouble with pmt portals…
also, anyone can send me a link where i can see this calm offer on Amex? didnt see it anywhere. thank you!
