Existing Marriott Cardholders: Register To Receive 10,000 Bonus Points For Spending $7,000

AMEX and Chase cardholders in the US can register their Marriott cards to earn 10,000 bonus points after spending $7,000 between offer registration and 9/21. You can register for this offer on each eligible card. Bonus points will post within 8-12 weeks of offer completion.

You’ll also earn 200 points for each card that you register for the offer.

Registration closes 8/1.

Eligible AMEX cards include the Marriott Bonvoy Business® American Express® Card, Marriott Bonvoy Bevy™ American Express® Card, and the Marriott Bonvoy Brilliant® American Express® Card.

Eligible Chase cards include the Marriott Bonvoy Boundless, Bountiful, and Bold cards.

Unfortunately the grandfathered AMEX Bonvoy and JPMorgan Ritz cards are not eligible.

Back in the SPG days you were able to earn 3 Marriott points per dollar spent, but that was cut to 2 after the merger. With this offer, you’ll earn 3.43 Marriott points per dollar spent, though you’ll need to spend exactly $7,000 by 9/21 to make that happen.

Then again, SPG and Marriott had award categories that created outsized values compared to the variable pricing currently in effect. And Marriott removed the 25% airline transfer bonus for transfers to American, Avianca, Delta, and Korean last year.

Will you try to earn this bonus?

Offer not available to those with the $95 AF Amex Bonvoy card

Carl

I could not find the offer on my Chase Boundless card. Can you find this either on the website or app? Where?

KAC

Just click on the embedded link in the story. I was able to register my Boundless without problem.

No, 10K points is peanuts

A post about nothing . 3.43 marriott points isn’t worth 2 percenr by any valuation. And if any of the 7k spend is in categories which you’d earn 5x or 3x chase or 3x 4x amex this is a fools errand.
