AMEX, Bank of America, Capital One, and Chase have all given additional time to meed spend thresholds to earn the bonus for opening a new card.
Citi will also join in and automatically allow an extra 3 months for all card approvals from 12/1/19-5/31/20. That means that even if you missed a spend threshold deadline, you can still get it done now!
Citi also announced that the Prestige card’s $250 travel credit will also work at supermarkets and restaurants, including delivery services, from now through 12/31/20. It’s great to see the credit card companies add more categories to earn travel credit.
