Bank branded lounges have become a required perk for high-end credit cards. AMEX started their own lounge network when American, Continental, and USAirways stopped allowing Platinum cardholders to access their lounges. Other banks are now trying to catch up with them.
Chase opened their 8th full service club today for Chase Sapphire Reserve® Cardholders, with the opening of the Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club in Philadelphia.
That’s in addition to access to the Air Canada lounge network.
The new lounge comes after the opening of a Sapphire Lounge in Boston, JFK, LaGuardia, Hong Kong, Washington DC/IAD, Phoenix, and San Diego.
Later this year Chase will open a lounge in Las Vegas’ Concourse C. A lounge is also being planned at Los Angeles Airport’s TBIT near gate 148.
The 20,000 square-foot Philadephia lounge is located post-security in the connector between Terminals D and E and is accessible from any gate in the airport. It is open daily from 5am-10pm.
The lounge features a beer garden, game room, family room and play area, private rest pods, showers, facial treatments from Face Haus, locally roasted coffee from Philadelphia’s Elixr Coffee, signature cocktails, and more.

I went to the Sapphire Reserve Lounge in LGA last week and it was fantastic. Easily the best lounge I’ve ever been in! Next time I go through Philly I’m going to schedule a few extra hours.
Don’t understand chase decision not to give any passes to the preferred card ..
They want them to spend more money and upgrade.
Chase should really rebrand the low cost/ non-premium cards as sapphire name is for sure to lead to confusion and ill will.
Was there today and it was pretty great. Generally overstaffed yet understaffed at the bar which I hope they sort out.
Any kosher offerings? Most other CSR lounges have very limited kosher options
MOST lounges have limited kosher offerings.
I have a Saphire reserve card… how do I get priority pass card?
You can access with the card itself. But you can get priority pass under card benefits on chase.com or by calling Chase.

If you’re passing through Phoenix, I suggest any other lounge than Sapphire. Usually a waitlist, and the food and drink options are pathetic.
If I have a few 3 AmEx cards that offer Priority pass can I open 3 priority pass accounts so I can get 3 annual sapphire visit?
Yes
