If i dont get approved until after 6/30 for the starwoods will i still get the extra bonus?
@shmu:
Yes, it goes by application date, not approval date.
Does Starwood work the same way as Amex, only eligible if you have never had the card before?
@Cards: Starwood is Amex so yes the same rules apply.
Dear Dan,
I would like to know if you have any tips on how to reach the 10G spending threshold for the citi card.
I would like to sign up for some cards but I am hasitent because there is no more vanilla reloads cards.
Meir
You can get the Paypal Here swipe device, and then pay yourself the $10k. It will cost you $270 in fees, but well worth the 100k AA miles!
This is of course an extreme example! Use the credit card for the first 2.5 months for whatever purchases you have, and then charge the rest to yourself with a 2.7% fee.
With the freedom, if u add an authorized user(2500 points) csn the added user already hv there own chase card? Also, if if the authorized user made charges and didnt pay ( or if i didnt) would it effect both users credit reports
@kkgmac: no need to give the secondary users ssn, u can even make up a fake name, no way for chase to know. So it won’t affect his/her credit at all. And both cards show up on 1 bill.
Would lke to apply for premier southwest card. Already received regular southwest card. To get bonus on premier card added to my current ff account to qualify for companion pass should I leave frequent flyer number blank on app or open a second one and use that number ? Then merge with current account. Or can I use current account with premier app
@Header: I think that your advise Is illegal & you might be locked up for doing that
So never try to do that
The freedom bonus for additional does he need to spend something?
Just spoke to executive card from citi, they do not have the 100,000 miles offer. Only 50,000 miles at $5,000 spending within 3 months.
Can this premier card be a business card?
anybody out there know how many cards chase will allow per month? (business and personal combined)
just did a 3bm on Southwest & freedom & I also added the Marriott card as I’m planning to stay there in aug. the freedom I got approved instantly but 2 others are under review, is there any chance I’ll get approved without calling recon or I should call right away?
@yitzy pitzy: can’t hurt to call! It always worked for me!
@Dan: with Chase also? It goes by application date?
@Shmo: officially yes.
How much yearly income do you need to put in to apply for amex?
Does it need to be real?
If I need to get 4 US Air tickets, and I have the following points/miles: US(50K), United (60k), SPG (30k), Chase Ink (160k), Chase freedom (50k). Is there a way to combine these points and transfer to US? Do I have to pay fee/loose points when I transfer points from one program to another? Can I transfer all points to Virgin and then to US? Somebody mentioned that you can book BA award flights through US to use less points, how can I do it? If you could explain or post links where I could read this info, i would really appreciate it! Also, somebody commented that Citibank Executive AA is only 50k now, did anybody get a luck getting 100k? I’m new to miles&points game and even though I read a lot about it, many puzzles are still missing from the picture… Thank you in advance and sorry for OT question.
I though it would go all day today??
@Eli:
Please explain why this is illegal? Why can’t I spend money at my own business? I am not avoiding any charges – I am paying the same 2.7% that would be charged to me if I charged someone else’s card, so what does it make a difference to Paypal if it is my card or anyone else’s?
@Stu:
I signed up with the link 3 days ago, got the card today, and even though the web page did not say 100K, when I SM’d them tonight, I got the following response…
Thank you for your inquiry.
