Yesterday, AMEX opened a Centurion Lounge in Washington Reagan National/DCA in Terminal 2, past the South Security Checkpoint.

The lounge’s hours are 5am-9pm from Sunday through Friday and 5am-7pm Saturday.

It features DC-inspired art, a DC-inspired cocktail menu, a shower suite, dedicated workstations, and more across some 12,000 square feet of space.  Floor-to-ceiling windows bring in natural light and offer views of the airfield and the Potomac River.

 

AMEX Business Platinum cardholders and The Platinum Card® from American Express consumer cardholders can access Centurion lounges for free. Additional Platinum cardholders that have an annual fee can also access the lounges for free. Adult guests cost $50 and children 2-17 cost $30. If you spend $75K/year on your Platinum card you can bring 2 free guests on your visits.

Delta Reserve for Business and Delta SkyMiles® Reserve American Express Card consumer cardholders can access Centurion lounges for free when flying on a Delta flight purchased on their Reserve card. Additional Reserve cardholders that have an annual fee can also access the lounges for free. Adult guests cost $50 and children 2-17 cost $30.

Can we please get a lounge in Chicago? Amazing that O’Hare is so sparse for lounges.

ORD had been very reluctant to allow non-airline lounge operators. The airport’s big tenants/customers that are American Airlines and United Airlines probably like it that there is neither an Amex lounge nor any Priority Pass lounge in Terminal 1-3.
