Which benefits were removed?
None.
Nothing for the gold card?
No.
unclear if you have a Verizon and ATT phone if you can get $20 per month on EACH
You can get a total of $20 in wireless credit per month.
Just saw that — now we need to come up with a way to make use of the other $20 if you don’t stream. Maybe Amazon Prime and turn into Amazon Credit!
Try and let us know but it seems only Prime Music and Prime video spending will work.
If you use AMEX for the wireless benefit, you will not have cellphone protection that other cards provide. Is the there a way to get both? Can I pay $20 with AMEX, the remainder with Ink biz pref for example, and still get the Ink cellphone coverage?
No. Need to pay the entire amount on ink preferred
You can prob make a misc payment on acct w Amex, not tied to bill
On Xfinity Mobile, you can pay against what you owe for the device (if you owe), as a manual one-time payment, without affecting the monthly billing and thus keep the monthly on a CIP or other cc for insurance.
you can’t pay a wireless telephone bill with a credit card, you need to pay the bill directly from the bank…how would one get the credit?
False.
BK was referring to Verizon unlimited plans were you save $5.00 per month when you are signed up for auto pay it has to be with the bank and not a credit card. if this false let us know.
So make a one-time $20 credit card payment?
Tmobile auto pay credit applies even if you have no balance but set up auto pay. My balance is -$1000
It removes the auto pay discount if you make one time payment. I tried. If you have other ideas please share thank you
They should add additional options for the airline credit, I have harder time using those now (no gcs).
That’s the reason they added the new categories on the Platinum cards.
do I have to pay my phone bill with the Amex card to get the $20 off ? and do I have to call them for the credit ?
Yes.
No, you’ll get an automatic statement credit.
Nothing for Gold premier membership rewARDS?
No.
So if I have Delta blue and Marriott consumer, I would earn more airline miles in the supermarket using Delta, as the Marriott converts 3 points into 1 airline mile. Correct?
Depends if you want Delta miles or more flexible points.
And 60K Marriott=25K airline miles.
If I sign up for or upgrade to the Platinum now will I receive these benefits?
Yes.
Thanks!
For the Hilton Surpass Card, re. the purchases at U.S. restaurants, including takeout and delivery, does that include Uber Eats, DoorDash and such?
Yes.
Postage stamps from post office should work
Correct.
Should also be able to order online, let us know if you try.
I just ordered 2 books of 20 stamps (each) for $22 total, plus a $1.30 S&H fee. Total of $23.30 of which I should get $20 back.
Keep us posted!
Got the $20 Amex Shipping Credit today!
How long is the wireless credit for? Also till the end of the year?
Yes.
The marriot 300 dollar restaurant credit will only be valid starting in june?
Correct.
I think that is only with the aspire card, not the surpass
What are you referring to?
Would USPS count for shipping
Sure.
Some post offices sell gift cards.
Try and let us know.
When ordering stamps from usps it posts annd STAMPS fulfillment services. Will this still work?
Did the Dell credit turn into $200 plus $200? The post says $100 plus $100 for a total of $400.
TY!
$100 plus $100 May-June and $100 plus $100 July-December=$400.
Thanks for explaining! So there is a new offer which can be stacked with the old? (Aside from the 10% back.)
Yes.
When I clicked the link to register for the bonus Dell credit, it tells me that I’m already enrolled for the $100 credit. No mention of the bonus $100. Is it automatic?
Thanks
Yes.
Will it work from TLV?
To TLV only, read the post 😉
I dont see any offers from platinum for these streaming services
These are for everyone, no registration needed.
can I buy a Dell gift card and get the credit ?
No, as Dell doesn’t process their gift card sales.
you can buy from them Xbox gift cards though
I’m confused $20 towards phone bill or new phone from the wireless carrier? Thanks
Bill. Though you can charge a phone to your bill.
Hey so with the dell credit on the business platinum, can the original credit and the bonus credit be used on the same purchase? Meaning if I were to purchase something today (may 1) I would get $200 off? ($100 off for the original and $100 for the bonus?)
Yes.
where do you see there is an extra bonus for May- June and July – December?
i don’t find it on the website
Click the links in this post.
Get up to $100 in statement credits between January and June and up to $100 in statement credits between July and December for U.S. purchases with Dell on your Business Platinum Card when enrolled. That’s up to $200 in statement credits annually.
Once enrolled, shop with your Business Platinum Card at http://www.dell.com/amex or call 1-877-780-9860
Nothing about the extra $200
Click the links in the first paragraph please.
Thank you, Dan!
Anyway to see if you used any credit this year so far?
Will the dell credit work on Bose headphones ?
Sure.
are the “streaming” credits automatic on the amex plat consumer if you have a charge or do you need to register a specific service or add an “offer” or something similar?
Automatic!
if I have the biz plat (referral from you 2 yrs ago- thank you!) do i need to do anything to get the $400? is there a min spend needed to hit the full $400? TIA
Register via the Shop Dell link in the post.
You’ll get up to $200 refunded May-June and up to $200 refunded July-December.
No minimum required.
Also check for 10% Dell AMEX Offer.
Hi Dan
On the AmEx business Platinum, a side for The 10% Amex offer with dell, I got 2 more
A) +1 membership Points at dell
B) +4 membership Points at dell
Nice!
What’s the difference between Dell and Dell Technologies?
The +4 has a link to dell.com/amexbiz, the 10% back is to dell.com/amex and both say Dell Technologies. Can you get both?
The +1 says Dell, and link is to dell.com. Can you get all 3?
Thanks!
No difference. You should get all 3. No need to use any specific link.
If i have two Business plats, can I use them both on one order and get $400 back?
Yes.
thanks
I’m not getting to the landing page to register for the additional Dell credit. It jumps to the original Dell offer of $100 Jan-June and $100 off July to Dec.
You only need to register for the original $100.
The bonus $100 is automatic.
ok – thanks!
Does the streaming credit apply to additional cardholders as well?
It will work, but they don’t get their own credit, it’s shared across the account.
additional card holders also get back $20 per month on wireless services and dell
It will work, but they don’t get their own credit, it’s shared across the account.
Can we buy a netflix or hulu gift card and get the $20 credit? Thank you
Try and let us know 🙂
Anything for the blue cash preffered card?
If it’s not in this post then no.
Hey Dan! I just wanna Thank you Thank you thank you for all!

ED
I get 5x on my Ink plus a discount for autopay. Is there a way anyone knows of, to apply $20 to my Amex and then the balance to the Chase, all while keeping the autopay discount?
Can you please explain the last point about spending on hilton? How much will I need to spend to get Diamond? (Although I currently hold the aspire card) and how do I get lifetime status?
Aspire (or Surpass) card weekend cretificates do not show up in Hilton Honors online account and there is no way to check their expirtation date (apart from the original email that has the certificate code and expiration date.) How can we check whether the certificate expiration date has indeed been extended by Hilton as they claim and its new expiration date?
Call them
Anyone have accurate info on the actual renewal date on the $250 aspire credit and $300 Marriott? I keep getting conflicting info from Amex. Does it renew on the day of statement closing date of the billing cycle that annual fee hits? Or the anniversary date of when you opened the card? And bichlal they keep telling me dif dates for my anniversary. How can I easily check myself? Thank you
Just chatted from 2 different accounts and on one of them they said anniversary date and the other they said a month later…
Is the Charles Schwab Platinum considered as a consumer platinum? Thanks!
I was wondering the same question. Have not received any email about it, while we did get email for Aspire, so I’m guessing not. 🙁
Also wondering the same. I put a $20 payment on my cell phone bill, so we’ll see. Holding off on the streaming services until I get confirmation.
It looks like it counts as a personal card
Indeed counts as a personal card. Paid T-Mobile bill on 5/1 ($20) and credit applied on 5/4 as AMEX WIRELESS PHONE SERVICE CREDIT.
“…on the Hilton Honors American Express Surpass® Card can now be used any night of the week (not just on weekends)…”
Is this only for the Surpass weekend night, and not Aspire? I don’t see any info on Hilton’s website, where did you see this? Could be very useful for next year 😉
where did you get the info on the dell additional 100 can i see that on amex ?
There are links at the top of this post.
Is the credit with Dell something that you have to activate with Amex offers?
The regular $200 here:
https://global.americanexpress.com/card-benefits/enroll/shop-dell/business-platinum
The bonus $200 is automatic.
your amex to dell link takes you to the regular shop dell promo where does it write clearly about the extra 200 ?
“AMEX is releasing several new benefits on their cards to make up for the lack of travel benefits due to COVID-19. An FAQ can be found here.”
Those words are linked for your reading pleasure.
tnx gut shaboss so over my 3 cards with 10 percent i have 660
in one transaction for each half year
Dan i didn’t see a write up on Hilton new offer for lifetime status?
how much do you need to spend to get Hilton lifetime status? is it worth getting?
(Gold status is already included with my AMEX platinum card)
Any extra benefits for Centurion????
can i use 20$ credit for accesorry bought from phone company
Terms say not applicable to hardware
will the wireless credit work on ultra mobile?
If I already used $100 of the Dell credit in March (before this extra promo came out), can I spend another $100 and still get the credit or do I have to wait till it resets in June for $200?
I have an auto pay discount on Verizon, and when I attempt to make a $20 payment they give a warning that the discount may be removed if this payment is made with a credit card.
Any ideas of how to use the statement credit in this situation?
I am going to try to do a work around with buying gift cards so that I can save up and only lose the auto pay once. I dont know if it will work but I can keep you posted
Buying a $25 gift card at verizon triggers the $20 credit.
And they do it again with the Amex Gold card.
They leave it alone but keep raising the AF, not quite sure why I still have it, not worth $250, had it already for 5 years and there’s nothing in particular that makes it worthwhile.
$120 Dining credit is great if I remember to use it , and it’s only $10 a month which is nice but again it’s $10. So I’m not in a hurry to waste an hour trying to order food to save $10. (Or save the other $20 by not ordering.)
And the Airline $100 credit is not being put to use, so we have an AF of $130 for what? Oh 4x on groceries if that still around?
They really got out help out the gold card, not sure why it’s still around. And not to forget they stripped it of all it’s extended benefits and purchase protection… Let’s see what they do or if they do something to make up for the $250 AF, if not I think I’m off to find another card..
I have a Dell quote so I can’t use the dell.com/amex link, would still get both credits?
There is no need to use that link.
Thank you !
Made a $10 payment on my Sprint account using the personal Green card. Credit posted today. see you next month !!!
