Is Platinum Amex also eligible for the discount?
@Anonymous:
The discount is for any card.
The warranty will work with any AMEX, even after you close it, as long as you have any active AMEX card.
ordered mine. cant wait to get it 🙂
btw. ther is sales tax so it’s not exactly $579 shipped but just over $600
You can get 400 dollars off the Lenovo Y570 which is an Intel I-7 and a much better laptop. Use code: DOORBSTERY570
@eli:
That’s a very different laptop.
It’s a bigger and heavier 15.6″ model and it costs $799 instead of $579.
Also most people won’t notice the difference between a 2nd generation i5 and an i7, they are both top-notch processors.
It does come with 2 GB more RAM and a dedicated graphics card, which are useful if you need that.
@Dan: Right. There’s also the Z570 for a total of 700 after the coupon DOORBSTERZ570. If you click here there is a list of all of the specials from Lenovo.
@Dan
If i have any amex card open, and the purchased electronic was purchased on a diff CLOSED card- i still get the warranty??? wow how did i miss that???
I wish I could find a good deal on a desktop with i5 processor, 8g RAM and 1TB hard drive. Best I found was $550.
@Moishe: where did you find that for 550?
is this considered to be a light laptop? Its a priority for me (although I’m not ready to dish out for a MacBook air or ultrabook…)
@ Moishe:
yeah, where’d you find that? That’s a solid deal! That’s exactly what IM in the market for (in addition to being ultra portable) and the price you qoute is from the best I’ve seen, so please share.
I was refering to the desktop, not laptop.
