if you are under 21 and renting from avis in new york, you are required to have id proof (not just a lisence) that you are an employee for that corp. acct. (otherwise you have to pay +/- $120 for underage fee per day)
it wasn’t fun finding that out……
IT’S BACK…
Dan, you called it, 25,000 A.A. miles with Citi, no first year fee!!
Note, however, that the last 5,000 miles will be received one year afer you sign up:(

what about any other state? do u still need that whole id from a corp thingy?
will avis still charge that 125 +/- fee per day?
Blue Label,
What makes you think that getting all those free miles ruins your credit score? When you cancel the three or six credit cards, just make sure to do it “closed by the request of the cardholder”.
Dan himself once wrote that he did it a few times and it did not affect him at all.
I’m back!
-As for that “25,000” mile credit card, that’s no better than the old 20,000 mile deal, because to get the full 25,000 you have to wait until the 2nd year and pay the annual fee. I hope to have a link for a true 25,000 mile deal within a week or so!
-Opening and cancelling cards will hurt your credit, but only in the short-term…after 6 months or so there shouldnt be any affect.
-The aa travel club is an OK deal, i didnt post it because the companion tix look hard to use.
-Avis doesnt require Id outside NY with a corp number.
-Cedar Point rocks!!!
