Is it better to use miles or buy for $138 to your opinion?

Thank! Any chance you’ll do a ‘XX things you can do with 50,001 Virgin America points’ post? It may be relevant to a couple of readers… 😉
@Dan: dan is there a way to book priceline over the phone? and if not, are there any other Flight websites that offer a cancelation policy like Priceline?
2.5 cpp with vx is not incredible for them, but pretty solid. For a revenue based program, they’re extremely solid. And their partner milage chart is great.
do amex points transfer to virgin america and how many do i need for 6k?
What are the dates?
Should i bother transferring from amex? or will be deal gone by the time it goes through?
@yaakov:
No, transferring from amex at a 2:1 ratio to get 2.5 cpp would be unwise.
@Ben:
I could do that.
@thanks:
Only at a 2:1 ratio.
Starpoints points transfer at a 1:1 or 20K:25K ratio, but it’ll take a day to post.

Better to transfer AMEX to Virgin Atlantic 1:1 and then book Virgin America flights?
@Anonymous:
Amex to virgin is 2:1, not 1:1
SPG is 1:1
@Deal:
to Virgin Atlantic is also 2:1??
Can I transfer Chase points to Virgin account?
