Update: Dead from Continental’s hubs in Cleveland, Houston, and Newark.
The price has actually been lowered between Honolulu and AA’s hubs in Dallas and Miami. The new price for MIA-HNL or DFW-HNL on United is just $441.
United just filed some cheap HNL fares to/from AA’s and Continental’s hub cities. The irony being that you can actually book these fares from United which are codeshares for Continental flights, so you can actually travel on Continental with these fares. And that means you can fly on Continental’s 10 hour nonstop flight from Newark to Honolulu for just $459! (If only Continental’s Tel Aviv fares ever went that low!)
No advance purchase is required, you can even fly tomorrow, based on seat availability which can sell out quickly! Travel must be completed by 12/09.
I checked a sample date: 10/19-10/26 which came back with these fares, including all taxes.
Newark-Honolulu: $459
Houston-Honolulu: $461
Miami-Honolulu: $461
Dallas: Honolulu: $461
Cleveland-Honolulu: $479

@L:
From Newark it’s probably typically about $800 for the nonstop flight.
@harold:
You can find nights for $50, you can find nights for $500. It all depends what you’re looking for.

I’m sure he will help light up the garden isle!
As long as Hyatt and the airlines cooperate I don’t see why we won’t return soon!
At any rate United pulled the fare at 8pm, but I’m always keeping my eyes open for the next cheap Hawaiian airfare!
What’s the fare class. Doing this flight twice, crediting to Aegean could give you *A Gold!
