Any way to still use the promo right now?

i have applied for about 7 citi aadvantage cards in the past 15 months(the last one was about 2 months ago) right now i have about 5 open. yesterday chase closed all my credit card accounts with them(3 card with a total limit above 20k)citing increased risk due to to many inquiries and to many accounts open.

is that a valid reason for chase to shut me down?
should chase be able to steal the 200 in cashback that they owe me?
and also, what did i do wrong/what should i have done differently to avoid this situation?

I made my jetblue reservations last week. I saw ur promotion and called jetblue who would NOT allow me to benefit from this promotion.so much for being the early bird:-(
