Update: DEAD!

Bookable on Orbitz. Orbitz tickets are refundable until 11pm ET the day after purchase. Earn 2-2.14 points per dollar and get free insurance for trip cancellation, trip interruption, trip delay, lost luggage, delayed luggage, and travel accident with Chase Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card® Card.
This only works for flights originating in Europe or Tel Aviv. If you buy a flight from Europe or Israel to NYC and skip the flight to NYC then your entire ticket will be cancelled, you will not be able to use just the return NYC-London ticket.
Repeat: This won’t work for flights originating in the US.
On the other hand this will work perfectly for a” one-way flight” from Tel Aviv or from Europe to the US on many dates from now until March 2015. Nobody will force you onto the return flight weeks later 😀
How to book:
Just hop onto Orbitz and click on “Multi-City”.
For flight 1 input TLV to NYC.
For flight 2 input NYC to LON.
Select to limit the search to only British Airways and Virgin Atlantic flights as shown below:
You can always use miles to get a flight at the end back to your origin city. Flights from London to most European cities are just 4,500 BA Avios.

Bru???
anything for succos?
whats the cheapest one way LHR-TLV?
@rachel:
Did you read the post?
@reb yid:
If you find something post it. A quick glance didn’t come up with anything.
@whats the cheapest one way LHR-TLV?:
Call a travel agent.
Any dates before 11/04? i need 10/22
If I need just tel avi to nyc..can I just not use the return
@Kidooo:
Search and let us know, I can’t do it all myself.
@yankel:
Of course, this would work perfectly for a one-way from Tel-Aviv to NYC.
OSL-LAX//LAX-LHR Jan 4th-March 26th $294
BEWARE! Ex London flights have high taxes on awards!
@Will:
Yup, lots of deals to other US cities.
Can spend a week just coming up with all of them.
@Yitz:
Not within Europe.
How much points from lhr tlv?
@Ba:
Depends on which points.
@dan
sorry
I need 4/12/15 TLV-NYC, and ideas which date to use for NYC-LHR?
I can’t seem to pull up these prices on matrix
@Dan: UA shows $180 range on LHR-TLV
@Menachem:
I had trouble finding stuff in April and later.
@Reb Yid:
Indeed, makes things difficult!
@Yitz:
Avios within Europe is very low.
But correct, otherwise flights from London are pricey. Probably better off booking a cheap intra-Europe flight from London and flying from somewhere else.
Round trip Meaning Tel Aviv New York City London then returning London New York City Tel Aviv?
If I book a ticket from OSL-JFK stopover in LHR can I get on @ LHR being that OSL-LHR is BA and LHR-JFK is Virgin Atlantic (2 seperate airlines and one is One World the other Star Alliance??
can we book this as a one-way from TLV to NY and pick up luggage in NY?
@Dan: i have UR and starwood
@Abe:
No, read the post again.
@sara:
I wouldn’t risk it.
@ellie:
Of course.
@Ba:
Tons of options.
BA is 12.5K Avios.
AA is 20K miles.
If expecting to need to shift the second flight (if able to use it at all) is it better to schedule it sooner and shift it later, schedule it later and shift it sooner, or its all the same?
Dan, is this a PM?
Think it will sell out fast?
@HDS:
Highly unlikely you can make any changes at an affordable rate.
@Mike B:
It is and it probably will.
Europeans getting a bone once in a while!
I have starwood I need two from LHR to TLV on April 20
@sara im thinking if you check in & go thru security before the Oslo flight leaves you may have luck.
But its oh so risky!
it’s great for a one way for pesach bein hazmanim (3/25)
can it work for 1/7?
I tried it for 3/21 and 3/22 tel aviv to new york and it did not work
Dan, any idea how much it would cost me to buy enough avios to cover the LON-TLV return. I am friends with a broker who will sell them to me at his cost. Any guesses what that would go for? I can’t get through to him right now, but I want to book before this sells out. Trying to get some family members in Israel tickets to visit NY.
@Mike B:
A one-way nonstop on BA from London to Tel Aviv would be either 12.5K Avios plus $220 or 4K Avios plus $315.
At a value of 1.2 cents each you’re looking at about $370.
A connecting flight using just cash can be had for $200 or so.
@sarah:
I got on 3/22 TLV-NYC-LON $355
Can I take a flight from london to nyc & then back to london?
Dan, thanks a lot for that. Makes it a bit too pricey for us.
Use EasyJet from London to Tel Aviv
http://www.easyjet.com/EN/Booking.mvc
@@knm:
No, you need to start elsewhere in Europe for this deal.
any options with los angeles
@sarah:
I got it TLV-NYC-LON on 3/22 $355
you can also do the return to manchester or Oslo.
Is the flight from tlv to nyc non stop?
or even back to barcelona will show up cheap things.
Can travel on BA metal count toward AA Elite miles?
or BRU, NYC, AMS (Amsterdam) will show 438!

So can i buy from Europe to nyc to tlv and get on in nyc?
Anyone find any dates departing the week of January 4-11???
@ what abt – no, u can’t
Anyone know if EasyJet flights have a cancellation period for free?
Thanks Dan!
Just Booked for a family member of mine for Simchas Torah, MUC-JFK-LHR for $488.70
A Gut Yom Tov
Must this be booked on orbitz? I don’t see an option for a flexible date search (but perhaps that’s a mobile limitation?)
Doesn’t seem to be working for me trying dates of October 6 from tlv to jfk not working.

Thanks Dan
I got 3 adults and 1 infant for $1,206
And I tried for another one and the price jumped to $923 each
so i spent an hour trying all different combinations from various european cities. by the time i would get from london to europe i may as well have gone direct. so i put in birmingham-chicago-london and got a flight for 560! dont think its a special deal or anything and theres a train direct from london to birmingham. something to keep in mind.
Does anyone know if orbitz will let me cancel 1 out of two people in the same booking, or is it all or nothing?
i am looking for someone to book tickets for me.

@deal:

I tried booking from 11/30-12/7 TLV-NYC NYC-LON and it was for $780 did I do something wrong?
Just FYI, GVA-NYC 3/25, NYC-LYS 4/12 is $448. Wish I could have made that work with Miami in the middle for pesach, but that’s too much flying with a baby.
Thanks for the awesome deal! Man, I wish this worked for Miami….

Thanks Dan, Just booked for family of 8 to come for Pesach to MIA! Got the $347 for the tkts, added 8 AA one way mileage to MIA and delta for $125 back to NYC. Now I need to work on the LON TLV portion!!
Dan,
Thank you!
Question: Flying YYZ-FCO in October on Alitalia. The site says A332 while other similar flights say A330. Do you know what the difference on AZ is? have you ever flown AZ? I really dont want to be stuck with old plane. Your thoughts? Thanks
@Dr Moos:
What date did you put in for the NYC-LON flight?
do i have 24 hours to cancel?
If you cancel your flight reservation by 10 p.m. CT the day after booking, Orbitz will issue a refund for the ticket cost to your credit card automatically. No airline penalties will apply. We call this a “courtesy cancellation.”
@Moshe R
what time did you do it was it after 8pm
@Anonymous:
I think it was 4/5, but the price has changed
Wednesday oct 1 need to be back oct 19 at night
leavinf from nyc to tel aviv
3 aduldte
5 kids
Which airlines is it with?
what other eauropean cities other than LON?
tried FRA – No go
It may be worth it to fly back from JFK instead of taking the NYC-LON leg… there are Transaero flights for $357 on various dates directly from JFK-TLV, whereas from lhr-tlv starts at $500…
Thanks allot dan your awesome this is a great deal if you know of any flights for cheap one way london to tel aviv post it
Thanks
I was hoping to use this to fly my sister and her family in from Israel for Pesach, but the cheapest that came up using your criteria is $800 pp rt (BA/El Al). Does that mean it’s dead, or is there another way to do it? Oddly, this wasn’t in your email earlier, or I would have tried it sooner–I heard about it from a family member
Would it work from NYC to tlv?
Looks dead. After clicking it says $697
OK, I managed to find $479 by using the last date you posted–3/25 to 4/12–but it doesn’t let me input more than four children, and my sister has five, KA”H. Any chance I can still get this deal?
Tnx Dan! You’re the best! 3-4 months ago I got that NYC-Rome-TLV, Prague-AMS-Tokyo tickets (I.e. One way tickets to israel) for $242. Ever since I’ve been debating between using miles, selling miles, and trying to search for decent flights…well, all that was solved today!!!
@Avoman04: worked on expedia though, possibly orbitz is having trouble processing clicks from @Dan
Looking for cheap tickets from NYC to London Nov 11. Ur help is greatly appreciated
Pls if someone can explain in Hebrew I want to be sure I’m not wrong
@Dan:
I heard you fly people around in your plane for cheap. Can you take my family of 12 to MLE for a week? I can spend up to $1k and it should preferably be before Tishrei.
Actually, can you teach my how to fly and I’ll just borrow your plane? I have a few hours this week. Can you do it for the above mentioned budget?
Seriously guys, stop asking stupid questions. There’s a site mentioned in the post, Orbitz.com it’s really cool and it answers most of your questions. If you’re still stuck, try this one, Google.com
Why does Dan have to tolerate this every time he find us something good?
Wishing you all best of luck.
Im trying to book from tlv to nyc and back.. is there a way to do that? Thanks!
DEAD!
Was good while it lasted 😉
is this still alive?
@all- is this dead yet? do i always miss every good deal?!?!
Still alive on some websites
@Ps: im willing to it for you, email me at phoneacciunt1234@gmail.com
@motti
which websites please?
@david: try priceline.com
@Ps: I would be happy to help you if you give me your contact info or do you have a name on the fourms?
I booked through Kayak, so looks like this is still alive
@Booked: what dates? im looking at end of dec and its over $700
@MeirS: +1
can I cancel on Vayama via Kayak online within 24 hours? It says cancelling on the phone is $50 per ticket charge.
Thanks to DD, in May, I booked my son on a one way ticket from NYC to TLV on sept 1 for a little over $300. (The return was Prague to Tokyo).
Today I booked him a return for $355 right after Purim – TLV to JFK. The JFK to LON is for after Pesach should he choose to use that ticket and connect from there to TLV.
Thanks DAN!!
worked. thanks
Booked via Kayak too
I did notice the $50 charge for cancellation before 7pm CST but I was pretty certain about my trip
Dates I was seeing was before Dec 24 and after Jan 4 (I guess those are holiday travel which is more)
Hi Dan, just wanted to thank you once again for sharing these deals…I was able to book a ticket home for Pesach for my son in yeshiva. Appreciate it! Keep up the great work!! Now all we need is a deal from NY to TLV and all will be good! Thanks again!
just booked on kayak so i guess its still active
any flight from tel aviv to new York on jan 1st?i need from jan 1st to 8th.please let me know!thanx!
But then how much will it cost to get back to Israel from London???
@anonymous mid-movember
@Yocheved:
Can someone help me out with how this works?
Does the flight include a return to tel aviv? How do I get back?
@yitz: when? and how much?
If you don’t block the other airlines there are still some great deals – finnair had for $543 in March TLV>JFK>LHR
@hsb: AZ A330 is a pretty new plane (you dont mean new; you just want in seat AVOD). They have that. If it is operated by Delta (some are) then it has a slightly different seat layout but also AVOD.
The a332 is a version of the a330. It is shorthand for A330-200
Folks – if anyone has been following, the total cost for non-mileage users looking for a TLV>NYV>TLV r/t flight is at least $700. Stopovers in both directions. Right now, there are deals with transaero for $625 r/t on many many dates. Ya feel me? Dan id very very awesome but keep in mind the big picture.
is there anything for december 8 from tlv to ny?
how many BA points to go from London to tlv
Aplogies for a chase Q.
I have freedom and ink
Any way freedom 5% gas better than staples x5 on ink?
I do not maximize ink. light user.
Thank you
I tried it just now and the minimum i got is $575
Do you guys hear how dumb you all sound in these posts?
It clearly stated. Tlv-lhr-NYC for $355 !!! It’s a “deal”.
Stop hassling Dan and let him get back to work.
Keep it up Dan,
Dan , thanks for such an awesome deal ! If I wanted to use star alliance miles to fly business from tel aviv-london-jfk ,
how would I do that ? would that be on special as well. (am new at this)
I do not understand why this is called RT when you do not return to TLV, I was looking at flights and if you return to TLV on dates I sought it was about 780 or so, if I want to travel with in US, buy a separate ticket, do I have to pick up my luggage in NY or can it get sent straight thru with just going thru customs and placing on conveyor belt??
I searched f;ights in late december and the price is $673, is the deal no longer relevant
Need a flight leaving from tel aviv to NYCon 10-25,26 returning
10-28, 29
What’s my best option
Please
call a travel agent!!!
I tried to book the tlv-nyc-lon deal. I entered many different dates and the cheapest i found was 650. is the deal dead?
Any TLV-LHR-BOS deals?
i neeeeeed one before november
@joetraveler
Yes either virgin or Delta
@heise meidel: what a funny name…..
Thanks Dan, this is my 1st time I grabbed one of your insane airfare deals.
It feels great to part of the Dansdeals club.
Thank you so so much!!!!!
@Mogzee: what are you guys doing with the LHR TLV part? to use easy jet i have to transfer to a different airport is this the best option?
@Anonymous
It could be the best options for right now, but I’m not thinking about it right now to be honest, I’m still getting excited about the tickets themselves. But if I see a good deal I will definitely let you know.
@Mogzee: if paying the regular price from london to israel this is not a deal so why being happy? easy jet prices is going up in the next few weeks for april 2015 or i should act quick? where will you post if you find a deal?
hi i,m new here i need a washington iad to paris cdg or nyc cdg for the end of october any idea? thanks
I booked the easyjet tickets to get back to tel aviv. There is a bus transfer for 22 gbp from heathrow to luton.
@avraham s: you know that you have to pay extra for luggage. how much did you pay? why did you choose luton rather than getwick?
The National Express bus from LHR to Luton is about 23gbp and you can take on 1 suitcase Free.
