This is not valid for flights from NYC.

Can you post link, doesn’t work.
Here is a full list http://www2.jetblue.com/deals/tied-in-a-bow/default.asp
@Jack:
What doesn’t work exactly?
@Mike:
Thanks for the list. Hardly a full list though, it doesn’t even mention the Burbank, Long Beach, Los Angeles flights to JFK.
Yeah but unless you plan on moving u need a return flight. And those weren’t cheap at all for my destination choice.
Use a one-way award ticket for your return. 12,500 miles for United/Continental. Not to bad.
Yay! No coming home from vacation!!
does not work?
IS IT FREE TO CANCEL WITHIN 24 HRS?
At least the one way trip is cheap! or maybe you dont plan on returning too soon, like me! yay! 🙂
I have a flight booked already from FLL to JFK on 12/25. Will they honor the sale on my already booked reservation?
Well I just called, and they said due to the nature of the sale, they could not change the fare 🙁
Just booked FLL to JFK on 12/25! Now for the way there (JFK- FLL) I am using AA miles but being charged $75 per ticket since its within 21 days… Is there any way around that?
@Red:
Book with BA Avios.
Just 7,500 Avios each way and no close-in fee.
@Dan: any ideas for good milage tkts from jfk back to lax?
@Dan: Pardon my ignorance… What is BA Avios? Is there a thread somewhere that I can read to explain it to me?
YAY DAN!! you made my chanuka plans! did the jetblue return from fll for 25!
@Dan (or any anyone else that can help me out here): Okay, so BA Avios is British Airways award program which is in alliance with AA. I just can’t figure out how to use my AA points to book with BA Avios. There doesn’t seem to be a way to transfer. Am I missing something?
You need AMEX Membership Rewards, Chase Ultimate Rewards, or Starwood Starpoints to transfer to BA.

@Dan:
I don’t believe there is availability on AA through BA
@Joey89:
Huh? If AA has sAAver award seats then BA can book them for you. Just call up BA.
Dan,
Thanks but I don’t have very many of the transferrable points you mentioned, and I doubt I’ll be able to get enough before 12/19 (my departure date). Is there any way to get the close-in fee waived on AA if I am not an elite member?
@Red:
There is a way: http://forums.dansdeals.com/index.php?topic=6043.0
@Dan
Hey while we are on the topic if there are no saver awards available on aa only 25k awards (either anytime or business first) and ba’s website isn’t showing availability is there any way to get a flight from NYC to lax @ the lower 12.5k fare or will I know be forced to use 25k each way???!!!
Sorry just to clarify is there anyway to get a flight using just 12.5k Avios points if the only flights aa is showing are 25k awards? Please answer asap thanx in advance
On BA website one way flights to vegas are 12,500 Avios each way, not 7,500
@Yaks:
Partners can only book saver awards.
@brooklyndan:
That’s nice. Red was trying to go to FLL, not LAS.
Dan,
Thanks! I think I’ll try that
Hey dan thanks for the quick reply but you mentioned if there are sAAver seats ba can book them for you but I just spoke to ba about certain days that had lots of SAAver availabilty and they told me that just because they are available on aa doesent mean they are available on ba and that there is no availability on those dates
@Yaks:
Hard to help if you don’t post your dates.
Don’t mean to make u crazy but I’m not 100% sure about the dates I want myself it kind of depends on availability. My point just was that the ba rep said she is 100% sure that she can’t book something for me if ba’s website shows no availability regardless of how many available dates are on aa’s website. She said those are just aa members. I know she is wrong but is there anything I can do to prove it….. Is there anywhere that it’s documented clearly that they have to book it for me?
If you want to prove it then please give me an example.
Ok lets say I want to fly to LA this summer from NYC. So my ideal traveling dates would be leaving EWR to LAX on aug 1 and returning on aug 12th AA has a direct flight in on the 1st for 12.5k mile sAAver award and a stopover return flight on the 12th for 12.5k miles but BA.com shows no availability on either of those dates and I actually gave these days to the rep and she says she has nothing available EWR to LAX the whole month of august!!! Also if I do manage to book these flights can cancel them about a month before and get all my Avios back with no cash or point penalty? Thanks so much! Sorry to bother you!
Try calling back again, this time don’t mention that you don’t see anything on ba.com. Many reps just want to get you off the phone and lie to get you off as quickly as possible, as they get bonuses for getting you off the phone.
Let us know what happens.
There is a cash penalty to cancel.
Thanks I will try that. Do you know offhand how much the penalty is? Also can I cancel let’s say 90 days in advance or something like that with no penalty whatsoever?
Thanks Dan ! got a ticket
do you know if icould still get the promotion?
@Dan: Interesting, b/c since avios I have barely seen any availability on ba, same like yaks says, even when there’s aa availability…. Hope calling is different??….
