Dear Dan,
I just got an email from Evolve Money that as of February 1st they are closing down. It would be a good idea to notify your readers to finish all spending before then.
Thanx for all that you do
Or is this only thru March?
Thank you!
@Any pesach dates?:
Some cities are bookable for Pesach. Play around with it and see what you find.
so on the last Sample itinerary: Miami-Tel Aviv from $674 on Air Canada, Delta, Turkish, United, and other carriers on select dates from now until April.
If I live in NYC can i just not show up for the 1rst segment and get a direct flight for $675 ?
Likewise on the return what happens if I just stay in JFK and dont take the connecting flight
will this work ?
Can any of the tickets that stop in NY be purchased but not fly from originating airport but only from NY to TLV?
Any suggestions for travel from nyc to Tlv in June?
Does ZFV work on United?
any concerns flying turkish airways?
@Ikey:
You can’t miss the first segment, but you can miss the last. Once you miss a segment the rest of the itinerary gets cancelled.
You can book a $600 ticket from DC via NYC and use 4.5K Avios to fly to DC to pickup the first flight. On the way home everyone needs to get their bags in NYC and you don’t need to take the final flight.
Alternatively you can book a multi-city with segment 1 from NYC to TLV and segment 2 from TLV to WAS. Find the option to fly from TLV to WAS via NYC and you have yourself a nonstop in both directions for cheaper than buying a normal nonstop…
@Shmue:
Still a bit early for June, but worth searching.
@Anonymous:
Yes.
@name:
It’s safe and they provide a top-notch product. So the only concern would be political as safety and comfort and excellent.
Hi Dan,
I am looking for early July dates. When is it good to book?
@Dan
Is this a sale, if so for how long?
air canada or delta? is air canada worth it to pay more $ for the flight?
@David:
2-3 months before is usually ideal.
@Menachem:
Unknown.
@Tali:
I’d take Delta.
Dan,
From previous years experience on sales given by the airlines , will there be a nonstop flight from the New York area to Tel Aviv this year as well and does that normally happen within the next 2 to 3 months as indicated above?
Just when I’ve already paid $576.68 for tickets. 😡 😢😥ðŸ˜
@ Dan,
You’d take Delta before AC? Flown both numerous times and I find AC to be a far superior experience. Can you explain why you’d take Delta?
Thanks
Turkish Airlines is great! Staff are polite and helpful. Our plane from NY was late, and the whole plane was going to Tel Aviv. They held the plane in Instanbul for us and rushed us through to the gate. El Al would never be so helpful.
@Nadine Bonner: Actually not so. As one who has flown every possible route from NA to Israel for over five decades I can attest to many an occasion where the El Al staff has been outstandingly helpful and courteous including rushing me and my wife through a crowded Paris airport to a plane whose doors were already closing. Yes, they are sometimes rough or gruff but overall, I have found they are on par with others and sometimes even surprise you. We love to bash our own but it is really unfair if we judge over time…
I need tickets mid July NYC to TLV.
When to book ?
@Smellyfart: Earlier, Dan said 2-3 months out is ideal.
Any flights from TLV to NYC for Pesach time dates??
Is this from Israel to NYC?
Is sale still on from nyc?
Is there any deals for TLV to YYZ (one way) within the next couple weeks?
Are ther still yyz to tlv available?
Do you have anything around July 4th to the 10th, 2016 to Israel, from NY, Newark or Phil?
Thanks,
Lisa
