United is offering discounts on international awards for cardholders this week.
Each weekday will feature a 24 hour sale to a different destination.
Here is the hidden list of destinations that will be on sale by day:
- Monday: Paris
- Tuesday: Amsterdam
- Wednesday: Frankfurt
- Thursday: Munich
- Friday: London
Today, you can book tickets in economy to/from Paris for 25K miles each way instead of he normal 30K-40K miles each way. Travel must be completed between January 12, 2025 and April 03, 2025.
You can cancel and receive a full refund, up until the time of departure. If you already booked travel, you can cancel and rebook at these rates.
You can currently earn up to 95,000 miles by opening a United card, which also opens up additional award space and discounted awards on United and partner airlines.

Objectively, this is a pretty terrible sale since it’s off-peak winter and these should be the regular prices. 🙂 I almost never redeem points on the US carriers for European travel. Flying Blue and Virgin almost always offer a much better deal.
