I love the mileage rates, but the fuel surcharges kill it for many routes. 18,750 plus about $180 is similar in value to what the other alliances charge (40k plus minimal fees, although European airport fees are getting higher and higher. Anything out of Germany is already about $100 and coming close to the Brits fleecing.
Does it make sense to fly to Israel with two separate flights to get the discount?
Fyi- their site is down. Just spent over am hour holding to speak to someone. If you can’t log into your account, there is nothing wrong with your account it is a system wide issue
Thanks had that issue
I just used this award ticket and combined (just asked the gate agent to send your bags all the way through) with a separate ticket from E”Y ELAL to CDG, then Air France CDG to YYZ for 40,000 points +$228 in Premium.
Their Premium, while it may be a bit older than Delta, (who I flew back on from the states) I found had a bit more room and even a nice cutout in the side of the arm rest that is great to keep a sefer.
Not sure how 18.5k is a deal when we recently had12.5k to Paris,
Just like the sales in your local grocery store…Inflation!
Dan, what is total calculation for nyc to tlv, each way
How many miles and how much tax and fees ?
Would help to see total calculation
Just follow the instructions in the post to search.
