can I originate in Israel but only take the Newark to TLV leg?
No
Are they refundable or can you switch your day if need be?
Changes are free, but you’ll owe the difference in fare.
It’s also worth noting that tickets originating in TLV are regular economy.
Sure is, added.
Is this just for basic economy?
It’s regular economy!

was wondering chase sent us in email seats requested for row 30 ab ef jkl 42c and 44d and then united sent us an email saying that they see we are a family so taking away our seats and giveng us row 54!! so we called then and they said nothing doing is there anything we can do ???? we said we are willing not to sit together but we want closer up front so they said the best they can do is give us row 46! is there any way to get back our row 30?
