Is it a safe airline?
Now maybe yes, but at the date of your travel it might not be…
Crazy? Jordan???
Is it really safe?
Dan, how come u just found out about this? ☺ If I knew I would have sent the info 2 you earlier…
Just don’t order the kosher meal and wear a cap. I would not suggest flying this airline with an Israeli passport
I’ve ordered kosher meals and worn a yarmulkah on arab airlines.
No issues.
Flew on Emirates with yarmulkah and ordered kosher food no problem at all. Didn’t have any eyes on me (That I saw!)
is there an airline that royal jordanian flights would credit the miles to that can get you 100 percent flown miles like when crediting turkish flights to singapore ,flying coach? and do you mind posting the fare classes a through z when you get a chance it can be a little confusing with the letters. thanks
I class.
AA: 100% of flown miles.
BA/IB/JL/QR/RJ: 125% of flown miles.
thank you very much
What dates? Doesn’t seem to work for succos 2018.
2/01/2018 – 3/24/2018
will it work with membership rewards to get 35% back?
Thanks. What are recommended seats?
Does it work tlv to jfk?
Does this work for pesach?
I’m scheduled to fly on Emirates in first class, any reason for safety concern?

On a recent flight, the pilot announced: “look out below, we are flying above Jerusalem, Palestine now”…
Why would you choose such a carrier?
so u think I shd back out, i took it because 85k got me first class
There is no first class.
Dan, can you add buttons such as “like” or “haha” like Facebook so I can revel in you calling people out. I love it…Go Dawgs!
what do u mean? I paid 85k for first class suits from ath to ewr.
Then you’re not flying on RJ.
Ur right I’m traveling with Emirates, so no reason to be scared from a yarmulkah?
We bought 2 tickets for the end of March, return at the end of Passover. Me and my child $ 2600 Thank you very much Dans
The airline is safe, good and customer friendly, and that includes its Jewish passengers. Order kosher food, don’t worry. Keep your yarmulke on, don’t worry. If you are travelling Business [some other time when the price is good, they have offers quite often] you have the lounge in Amman during the short stopovers as well.
As long as you don’t shmies someone with your tzitzis at ברכי נפשי make a kiddush hashem and you’ll be percent fine…on a side note I recently passed Egypt air check in in Nyc and saw this frum guy with a kippa checking in !! He was going to tlv….anyone ever flown them ??
I flew Qatar Airlines last year. Not only was their planes and service 1000x better than Elal, their kosher food was better too!
Where talking security & safety and ElAl wins Qatar hands down .
1. Emirates is different (vis-a-vis Israel) from Jordanian
2. Nowadays is different from when Dan last flew on Emirates
3. One or two people’s experience just tells us how things went for them. It’s not a very large sample from which to determine the risk of a bad experience happening to you.
I just flew them in business class service was good and comfortable
but was served 2 beef meals (plain economy meals) Rabanut kosher and not glatt good thing I had tuna sandwiches as a backup
Dan! I had a friend of mine book ne a ticket from ewr to tov on United 90 business for 75k United points !!
Learning the hard way.
RJ doesn’t fly daily out of NYC.
These tickets are 100% non-refundable. Trying to change this ticket with a connection via ORD due to medical emergency, results in them asking for around $3,000.
