But it will cost ya over a $1,000 for the return flight, so it’s not really a deal
Like I wrote, it’s good for using miles back.
what miles are best for the way back economy?
Turkish charges 32K coach/47K business for Star Alliance flights.
Many other good options as well.
How do you find availability
Any way to book Turkish with amex or chase points?
Or an Aliya flight!
Why come back? now is a chance to stay in our homeland forever.
Any good flights back?
What’s the point of getting a cheap one way ticket if the return is expensive????
Qantas has premium for 70k a few dates

JULY 23 N/A
dead for MIA on the 29th
I wanted the 29th from. Miami, but it did not come up. So I went for the 24th and got it. Back? G-d will help
I did the same… let me know options for return when you find one. Maybe through Europe?
Virgin has premium for 47k and $200 and plus chase 30% Bonus.
And amex
Can I transfer chase points to Turkish?
No
I booked a flight back from TLV to JFK on upper class with virgin for 69k points and $250 with the 30% bonus transfer. Also flying on the new a330 neo for virgin which will be a nice experience.
Which points do you use to book virgin?
Can I still book a ticket?
fyi as a reminder tisha bav is july 26 eve to july 27
Was about to check the dates with the nine days and tisha bav
July 18 from ewr seems to be sold out
looks they are giving an incentive for people to be in Israel for the 9 days … interesting
No. No one wants to travel on 9 days, so offered cheaply so all seats occupied
Can anyone please advise on the cheapest way to fly back with miles with a family of 4 in August? We have MR and UR points

how come airlines are charging an arm and a leg to fly to europe this july you already posted 2 times that elal was flying for 300 bucks in july is it worthwhile to wait closer to the dates for flights to open up to europe in awards like lifemiles and flying blue if you have to book 3 or 4 tickets on one flight? what would you do if you needed to fly to europe? thank you
I tried doing July 27th one way from Newark to Tel Aviv on el Al but it says the cheapest is 752$ how do I get the deal?
elal doesnt seam to offer 24 hours to cancel what shuld i do abou that
US law requires that.
With elal you have to call to cancel. I tried calling elal to cancel but it was shvus in Israel.
I called after Yom tov and they only want to give me a voucher which I don’t need. ( Since I booked the July 11 and 13 to decide… I kept the July 11)
How do I file a DOT claim?
https://secure.dot.gov/air-travel-complaint
I’m dealing with this headache now too. I called a few weeks ago and the agent told me I can get a voucher but I wasn’t sure yet if I would be in the USA. Now I realize I can’t go so trying to cxl the leg from Boston-TLV and a different agent is telling me I can’t cxl and will lose my money on the $198 ticket. Why does the story keep changing with these fools?
any options from chicago?
Book a ticket from Chicago to a city they fly to.
I bought a $298 flight with a regular credit card am I able to have them refund me and instead of use Chase points?
when I book el al thru chase travel can i still get el al protect?
