American is back with another fantastic sale from Tel Aviv to the US as they continue their battle for market share as the new entrant in the market.
The cheapest fares are basic economy, but they include a free carry-on bag, a free checked bag, and flights can be changed for free for travel on any route, though the difference in fare will still be owed. If a flight doesn’t operate you can get a full refund.
A Friday night stay is required.
You can buy up to regular economy for an extra $50 round-trip, which will allow you to assign seats without an extra charge. It may be cheaper to purchase basic economy and pay for assigned seats.
These fares are on sale for flights originating in Israel only.

Are the chase points free redeposit cancellation also like AA
No
The change fee waiver for basic economy originating outside North America is a pain to deal with. It can’t be done online and most agents are unaware of it.
It took me several HUCAs and supervisors to get it done.
Try Twitter DM next time?
Just miss Shabbos Chanuka.
Its good for the way out, but didn’t want to have to wait till the 10th to return 🙁
How does cancellation with points work? Do they stay with AA for rebooking in the future?
You would get a credit the paid amount on AA.
why am i not seeing this deal? where am i supposed to look?
Read the post again?
Im checking march 8-10. tlv to jfk the correct dates. what more am i supposed to be doing? I really need this deal. thanks
A Friday night stay is required.
Thank you, that answers the question
Thank you so much! Booked my family back to America for pesach. American Airlines seems to say that Basic Economy does not allow free changes on tickets booked after 3/21. Am I misunderstanding this? I booked flights on expedia.
Click on the link in the post for free changes. There’s an exception for tickets originating outside of North America.
It says Basic Economy fares on flights marketed by American Airlines. Are cancellations accepted even if booked with expedia? If so, Where does the credit go?
It should be.
Should stay with American.
If I book round trip, can I fly there and not take the return? Will I get charged extra?
Some of the Pesach back from Yeshiva fights are going up by $200 from the page where you select to the page where you pay.
Any idea what planes they use from Mia?
Chase says Basic Economy Plus is non refundable (if booked after April 2021). Is it somehow refundable?
I followed the link that you provided regarding the changes for the basic economy exceptions due to flight originated outside of North America. On that chart it says that if the flight originates in Asia, then it is non-changeable. I confirmed with AA that they consider Israel part of Asia. Is it possible that there is a mistake in thinking that these flights are changeable? Or are you certain that Israel is considered Middle East according to AA?
Israel is Middle East:

It looks like this is dead.
Thank you Dan! I just got that price for later in June (June 9 – June 15). Thanks so much.
I am trying to select a flight leaving from TLV on March 24 and returning on the 30th. Booking though chase. Not sure why my price is $500, and not $434
According to the link provided, it seems that flights CANNOT be changed for Basic Economy flights. Please advise.
Click on the section for flights originating outside of North America.
I am seeing ~$850 round trip in premium economy as well! If you plan to check two bags, this is a far better value.
Thanks Dan, I booked for my parents to come to NY for Pesach. Awesome deal. I took the priceline trip protection just in case since they are non refundable tickets
any idea how aa handles the mask requirement for a 2.5 year old?
TLV to JFK March 25, JFK to TLV May 1st, coming up for $767. What am I doing wrong?
hi-can anyone help? my husband and I are planning to fly to america on separate flights with our itineraries overlapping (due to each of our scheduling needs) we each are flying with some of the children. we’d like 2 of the kids to fly one way with me and one way with him. But we can’t make the reservation for them because the system identifies them as unaccompanied minors even though they will be with a parent for each flight. Any suggestions????
Just make a 2015 birth date 1915…
is it still active?
Does it matter, points, cash back, perks, which website I book the ticket through? I have the Chase Saphire Preferred card and the Citi AA executive card. Which site and which card would get the best return (insurance coverage, points, miles, cash) or best to book it through? I plan to use money and not miles for the flight. Any suggestions? thanks,
I bought a ticket for march 23 can I cancel and get money back
I looked on AA site just wasnt clear if can get refund
is this still active?
is it free to cancel, or just to change
