I flew from Moscow to NY via Amsterdam last winter when KLM/Air France were running a sale. Paid $380 for the ticket. 3 out of 4 flights were canceled or delayed for various lengths of time. As per European regulation, I received $1050 in compensation from the airlines, plus the same amount for my infant who traveled with me. All I had to do was call the airline…
Stopovers in Europe with normal airlines are the best!!
