Paris is easily one of my favorite cities in the world. You can read my 2010 trip notes here and 2012 trip notes here.
Kosher travelers won’t go hungry in the city of lights.
In 2010 we spent Shabbos in Paris and had wonderful meals with other travelers from around the world at Chabad of Champs Elysées.
Darjeeling makes the best kosher Indian food in the world and Thai One has some of the best kosher Thai food in the world as well. Both are glatt kosher, which is sadly a rarity in Paris. L’inte Cafe is a phenomenal dairy cholov yisoel restaurant. And L’As du Fallafel makes one of the best Felafel in the world and gives even the best places in Israel a run for their money.
Chez Akol makes the most delectable cholov yisroel French pastries in the world. Saraden and Charles Trateiur also make great pastries. Damyel makes some of the best bittersweet chocolate in the world and Ardely makes great cholov yisroel chocolates.

paris is muslim dominated, not safe for jews why would anybody want to go there?
I’ve been to Paris several times and wouldn’t hesitate to return. Though it is one of the few places where I put a baseball cap over my yalmulka.
I go there every year with my yarmulke and chasidish levish and never had a problem, looking for tickets for passover
There is a big lubavitcher community over there, They don’t need a baseball cap, and don’t forget the 250 bochurim going to paris every week with hat and jacket, and also the chanukah parade, the public menorah lighting etc…
Run on sentence…
Racist much?
Mel, Marvin doesn’t appear “racist much”. Can you please tell me how he is racist by pointing out a vastly growing demographic statistic in a geographic region?
because he didn’t only just point out the vastly growing demographic static in a geographic region. He added “not safe for jews why would anybody want to go there”
Any deals in Prem Econ or Biz?
Are these rates lowered because of the recent rioting in Paris?
Don’t forget a yellow vest !
One of the grossest cities I’ve ever been to

No wonder there are giving away trips!
Why in the world one would go there?! The old Paris is gone. Besides Islamist slums, the new Paris is a dump: https://twitter.com/ohboywhatashot/status/1069268301656801280
the deal is pretty much over……….if you used chase points to buy the ticket, and you have a united card, does that help anything? what if you used a dollar on the united card and the rest in points?? is that enough to work?
@dan please answer
