SAS: Pay For 1 Adult, Bring Up To 8 Kids For Free!
SAS, a Star Alliance member, is offering up to 8 free kids tickets with the purchase of an adult ticket from the USA to Denmark, Finland, Norway, or Sweden. All you need to pay are the taxes.
Kids must be under 12 years old for this promotion.
Tickets must be booked by 5/13 and depart from the USA between 8/20/18-3/30/19.
From Newark for example you can fly on SAS nonstop to Copenhagen, Oslo, or Stockholm.
Here are some sample round-trip fares for 1 adult and 8 children:
You can travel to Bodø as I did in 2016. It’s home to the amazing Saltstraumen Maelstrom, a great aviation museum, and it’s the gateway to the beautiful Lofoten Islands:
You can even travel to the top of the world, Longyearbyen, Svalbard for a real adventure in a land that is frozen over and where the sun doesn’t rise in the winter or set in the summer. From snowmobiling to dogsledding to the Northern Lights, this remote outpost is incredible:
This also works in SAS Plus with extra legroom, seat width, lounge access, free wifi, power outlets, fast track security, and extra baggage. For example here is Newark-Oslo in SAS Plus for 1 adult and 8 kids:
Alas, this promotion does not work for business class.
You can find more SAS destinations within Denmark, Finland, Norway, or Sweden on Wikipedia.
Where will you fly with this promotion?

Can you go from there to Israel – thinking Sukkot.
Finnair (OneWorld) flies nonstop from HEL to TLV.
Norwegian flies nonstop from ARN to TLV.
Norwegian flies nonstop from CPH to TLV.
when i go to their website and put tel aviv (nothing found) is the message i get
When you go to who’s website??
SAS
When did I say that SAS flies to TLV?
i assumed my bad
Eilat,Israel show up in the destination area but no tel aviv and if your try to book Eilat no flights available
Which of these places are best to go to Israel? Shortest flights?
I’d start by looking at fares from each for your dates on flights.google.com
http://flights.google.com/ vs http://kayak.com/ which one is better
Lol, the title…
My thoughts exactly…
wanted to be the one who said something..dont think anyone wants to send their kids to “hel”
From all places what a coincidence that he chose hel, should be changed No? Or you enjoy the feedback or more visitors to the site?
Myi, for someone who’s traveled quite a bit I really thought nothing of it, as HEL is the airport code. Now, if you go to the Grand Cayman Islands there is a real city called Hell.
There’s a Hell, Norway as well.
I flew through TRD which is next to Hell and they had postcards for it 😀
Also Hell, Michigan
And I thought it said hell
Had to do a double take on that abbreviation
Now this play on words is a first here lol
Had about 10 bad puns in this post:

Dan, u couldnt write out Helsinki? Lol
Which location has the best kosher food?
Not much that I know of, BYOF is the way to go.
There’s a small kosher store in Helsinki next to the shul, but they don’t have much. Helped when I was passing through on a stopover, but if you’re going with a bunch of kids, you’ll definitely need to BYOF.
I do remember they had bags of Bissli though 🙂
In Copenhagen you have a kosher store and there is a kosher restaurant in the Chabad House with great food.
Awesome!
even going to hel is not free
Why would anyone want to send all 8 of their kids to Hell. I can understand sending 1,2 or even 4 but at least keep some of them for yourself?
What? You only have 8 kids? Newbie!
Still waiting for part 2 of your Svalbard report.
Good point.
Nu??? Stop good-pointing already! We’re waiting!!!
how far is svalbard from norway?
Go to Eurabia, where u must be kippah free. No thanks.
Under 12, or 12 and under?
Read the post?
Best. Title. Ever.
What if we wanted to fly through Helsinki to another destination? Could we still get those fares? How would we book it?
Book a separate ticket.
How about from canada?
If I book and my wife books can we each take 8 children
Any deals to go from SIN to HEL?
+1. LOL
With a stop in DVL
Or sign up for Tshuvah SA precheck, and transfer to flight to GAN (probably via ATL as they say in the south)
Go skiplagged to VCV
send the wife & kids 1 way … ;-))
Ha ha ha ☺
is this how you dan would book tickets to israel to go for sukkot?
Just wondering – would you want to be on the flight with 10 adults and 80 kids?
Sounds like hel
Flew 2 years ago to Israel with a stop over in Helsinki toured for the day went on the hop on and off bus nice trip took food
Could you book the adult fair with UR or MR points and then go to SAS and add the kids later?
You can book the kids with UR points when you book the adult ticket. The Chase travel portal has the promotion as well.
