JetBlue used to fly to Columbus but only flew to Boston and JFK. The only problem was their schedules were not business traveler friendly and they expected leisure travelers to connect in the Northeast to get to Florida and the Caribbean?!? Why would I travel 2 hours east to get to Florida?

Many cities don’t seem to have flight schedules for October and beyond. Even SFO-LAX for example, which should not be a seasonal route.

i.e. nyc-cancun 06/10 to 06/20 and then cancun to nyc 06/16 to 06/26. Both bookings you just dont use the 2nd leg

site was down so i called jetblue and told them i found this crazy deal on some jewish site called dansdeals that pretty much is a price mistake and can they please honor it. they asked for my social and put me on hold.

The thing is that it’s not a price mistake. There are people out there that are using the deal to take $500 off a $6000 package. If you book a dorm bed for $30 a night, JetBlue is paying them significantly less than that.

Any idea how we could book with kids?
You might have to book the two adults separately to get those tickets free. Then pay for the kids tickets, booked the normal way. Then call Jetblue to attach the kids reservations to an adult ticket. So it will not be totally free but you will at least get 2 free tickets.
The JetBlue deal makes no sense because the bundle deal is way more expensive than just a regular flight to Cancun even with $0 for the hotel. 500 off of 1300 is more expensive then just booking a flight to Cancun.
My question is how do you know what’s being charged for the flight vs the hotel? Can they not theoretically charge the flight to be $1000 of the $5000 booking?

Booked with hostel option from FLL-Cancun rountrip an hour ago ended up paying $30 per person. Should have thought through that Cancun hotels are $$$ and I think I want to cancel this but its $100 cancellation fee per person!! Can we please stop with the “once in a decade deal” hype? For 99.9% of people this is nothing more than a free ONE WAY ticket to somehwere, considering most people will find no use for a return 9 days later. A nice deal, sure, but the value of this one way ticket is effectively capped if your attempting to keep the RT+hotel at under $500.
The problem with the deal was that the site crashed and it died quickly.
People booked to Cancun, Vegas, Columbia, and more for free or almost free.
If the site didn’t crash, there would have been thousands of flights booked to Cancun, but there is no way to know that at the time of sharing…

DO NOT CALL. They will not allow you to change it for free and there’s a chance they will just cancel the ticket. I would just stick with what you have.
Years ago there was some form of a deal ( I can’t recall all of the details) from JB where people were getting “free” hotel stays, and just skipped the flight portion of the ticket. I remember using the Hilton near me just for the pool. I skipped out on actually sleeping there or taking the return flight out to Kalamazoo.
You could just book 2 separate trips with 4 total flights to get a shorter stay free round trip tickets to Cancun is a deal of a decade
that wouldnt really work, since you would miss the outbound on one of the trips and thereby cancel the return
Spoke with JetBlue to see if I can change the dates of my reservation made yesterday and the rep said no changes but if I don’t show to Hotel (and presumingly the flight as well?) the Hotel/Jetblue will charge me a no show/cancelation fee, can anyone confirm this?
