The 50off is dead, but great deals are still available. Seems to me that if your dates are flexible, you can book Spirit Air between LA and Ft. Lauderdale for as low as $17.99 ea. way (if you fly on a Tues. or Wed.); combine that with Jet Blue’s NY to FLL for $189, and you can make the NY to LAX connection for under $250!

They charge extra for EVERYTHING…carryon, checked baggage, seat assignments, drinks, etc…
Dan where you were on the cheap Spirit DFW flights. I don’t know if they still exist but I got 4 tickets from DFW- ORL for pesach (annoying 3 hour drive to boca for one way) for 173. Of course it was 16 bucks in ticket price and everything else in taxes.
