You can try the KLM site, but you will probably not have the 24 hour cancellation policy. And the site isn’t nearly as easy to use as Orbitz is.

If you see flights you want buy ’em now on Orbitz. Worst comes to worst you can always cancel them in the morning. Don’t hesitate and kick yourself later!

It used to say 24 hours. Now it says 10pm CT (11PM ET) the day after booking. That would mean if you book now you should have nearly 45 hours to cancel:

You can make the return from israel through fco (rome) or cdg (paris) for the same price!!

You can go from jfk to tlv direct and tlv to jfk with one stop then make 3rd leg jfk to yyz and price is 877

AJK – Book with hyatt points. To lengthen the AMS leg, try searching AMS-CDG-NYC. The flight to CDG might be later than your flight.

For all those looking to replicate this deal, I spent 5 hours last night searching ita software trying to find the best and cheapest flight to Italy. I just checked now, and it seems like the tickets I found are still availible.

JFK to FCO then VCE to JFK and then JFK to YUL

511 for December 26th to January 10th

For those who chose YYZ, I found that the rates were lower into YUL.

Now the interesting part, when searching the deal last night, like everyone I was mostly getting the lower rates through KLM. But using ITA I was able to find better flight, direct to Italy for the same price, flying Alitalia

Hope this info will help someone.

You definitely have to pick up your luggage in JFK and carry it past customs before you can recheck your luggage, or just leave the airport with it.

With Alitalia it’s still on. I just booked my entire family for Pesach.
