All of my AMEX cards that earn Membership Rewards points are targeted for an excellent offer: 20K bonus points for spending $1,000 on Air France on their US site by 4/14/17.
You are allowed to make multiple purchases to reach $1,000.
If you have multiple targeted primary and secondary cards and have more than $2,000 to spend with Air France you should split up the itineraries to earn more bonus points. In other words if you have 6 $500 tickets to buy and you have 3 targeted cards then you can make 3 reservations of $1,000 each on each card to earn 60K bonus points from this offer.
With a $1,000 purchase you can earn up to 25K AMEX points depending on which AMEX card you use. For example a Premier Rewards Gold Card would earn 23K points (3K base points+20K bonus) and a Platinum Card would earn 25K points (5K base points+20K bonus). That’s on top of Flying Blue miles that you’ll earn for the flight.
If you have a Business Platinum Card you’ll be able to use 25K points for at least $500 of paid airfare in the future!
To see if you have this offer in your account just login to your AMEX account, click on any of your cards to go the activity page, click on “AMEX Offers For You,” and save the offer to your account.
If you also have multiple cards with the offer don’t rush to save the offer to your account! Open up the Offers page for each card in a separate tab in the same browser. Then go between the tabs to save the offer to each of your targeted cards. Otherwise once you save the offer to one card it disappears from your other cards.
Always check all primary and secondary card offers, as secondary cards will often have offers that the primary card does not. You can add secondary cards in your own name to your primary login or you can create a new login for other secondary cards.
Note that you only have to worry about an offer disappearing from other cards when they are registered to the same account. Saving an offer won’t affect cards that have their own login.
If you mess up and don’t save the offer to a card you can always remove a card from one login and make a dedicated login for it to register it. Alternatively you can remove the card that has an offer saved to it and the offer will reappear for the rest of the cards registered to that account. Once you properly save the offer to all cards on that account you can re-register the deleted card back to the same account.

why is this great if i have no use for Air France? throwing away $1000?
Does this work for gift cards?
didn’t get it on any of my cards
@Anonymous:
Air France has reasonable fares to Israel from many major US cities
TLV-JFK-TLV is just $500 or less on Air France.
@R:
Which cards?
Did you scroll all the way to the bottom?
Did you try the new and old interface?
you have to be a complete fool to stop in France.
@Ed:
LOL
I flew through Paris last year. I guess I’m a fool?
@Dan: what dates for $500 RT?
how do I book a fully refundable fare on airfrance.us. ?
@Steve:
if are planning on travelling
can we buy gift cards and get this offer?
Will buying and canceling within 24 hours work?
@Dan:
500 each way, or round trip? Tried several dates, all come up as 500 each leg.
@ben udom:
Lots of dates in March:

does this work for buying miles on the website (didn’t see any offer language specifically excluding this kind of purchase)?
@DMH: the amex offer clearly excluded miles purchases
Delta card here, no offer.
How many annual fees are you guys paying?
I pay one amex 95
2 chase (95+450)
should I trim down?
sounds like its worth blowing $1k to get a guaranteed 2k-2.5k worth of points even without actually flying. what’s the verdict on purchasing a gift card or using air france to just fly within north america?
thanks dan
Dan, how do I get multiple offers for each additional personal and business card. Isn’t it one per account? One for biz and one for personal? I did the trick to get on my personal and biz but not sure how to get separate for each employee card. Thank you very much again for all your good ideas over the years
@DL:
This wasn’t for the Delta card.
@looking to travel:
How are you getting $2K worth of points?
@Yossi:
Just follow the instructions in this post. It’s valid once per card.
How can you get %50 back with airfrance on Biz Platinum, there is no way to choose Airfrance for the year selection? So you won’t get %50 back
@airfra:
Who said anything about redeeming points for travel on Air France?
Can we buy Air france gift cards ?
Terms:EARNING POINTS: Limit 1 enrolled Card per American Express Card online account and limit of 20000 additional Membership Rewards points per Card.
@Dan doesnt this mean that only 1 card per online account is eligible?
Is it somehow possible to purchase partner flights thru airfrance? Everything I search for seems extremely expensive. I probably need to research air france some more.
Is it dead?
I don’t see it on any of my MR earning cards.
Hi,
I am not used to their site:
Are their fully refundable fares available? It does not seem like it but Maybe I am missing something.
Thanks
Missed a zero……
Dan, you write: If you also have multiple cards with the offer don’t rush to save the offer to your account! Open up the Offers page for each card in a separate tab in the same browser.
I have never understood this, have been trying this for past few years. On employee, or additional user page, it does not show me the “offers” on bottom! And when using the old site as you have posted here, It switches to the NEW site whenever I select an addition user from “my cards” list. Which brings me back to the no offers on the page. (I tried Incognito as well) Only way I can do a few on same tab, is for the main cards (ie plat biz, gold biz acct etc) that I have on my own name, no AU’s.
Can you help, as this offer would be amazing if I can get on all, and do not want to bother setting up many logins.
Waiting for a reply re air France gift card …..anyone know ?
I have a trip that I would like to book online with Air france Tlv-Nyc Nyc-Tlv with Alitalia how do I purchase online?
Thank you
@Waiting: Air France doesn’t sell gift cards
I see that the annual fee is $450, so how is it worth it?
@moses: I can confirm that I had it added to 3 cards on one online account and did the spending on 2 of them but only got 1 bonus of 20k mr, while the offer was removed from all cards, A rep has also confirmed that the for it was as you quoted.
@Dan any input?
How long has everyone been waiting to see the MR points post from the Air France purchases? It’s been over a week already.
@Dan:
Is there a way to access the new interface on amex?
