Frontier is offering fares from just $15 each way on their own site with code: SAVEBIG
Their site is operating very slowly though, so you may be better off booking via Priceline for $20 each way.
-Limited seats are available on each date. Always search one-way for 1 seat and then work your way up to the number of seats you need in order to book as many seats on sale as you can.

Wild!
any idea on how to beat their system.
@anon book through Priceline $20/ew is still dirt cheap
Cancellation policy on Priceline again>
Is their site really down?
Checked round trip $40 LGA-MIA. How are these flights so cheap? Is it even worth it for the airline?
What system? arent the tickets cheap enough?
How can we get priceline to work?
On Priceline, are Frontier tickets refundable until midnight of the day after booking, like other Priceline tickets?
can the flight be cancelled within 24 hrs. if you book with frontier? and can it be cancelled if you book with priceline
oh great , now miami will get a headstart on all the snowbord action
Is Frontier considered reliable and a “normal” airline?
can i cancel priceline within 24 hours?
How do you get the deal from priceline??
Any idea how to book through Priceline and still get it for 15$/20$? It’s coming up as regular price
Thanks Dan!
Trenton – Chicago Ohare booked for $29.98
Several additional cities available flying out of Trenton.
evrything is sold out :/
Priceline tickets aren’t booking.
From the Frontier website: Except for tickets purchased for travel within 7 days (168 hours), all tickets may be cancelled for a full refund up to 24 hours after the time of purchase.
I got 4 tix to NY for 2nd days of sukkos for $60… Thanks Dan! 🙂
there are a bunch of 54 dollar flights on american around that time
what additional charges will I come across. I see we need to pay for checked in and carry on bags.
Do all seat assignments have a charge?
do you have 24hrs to cancel a booking?
So many additional fees that it’s not worth it…
Carry On, Checked Bags, Seats… I’m out!
It is not a deal! Never ever take Frontier Airlines!
@Pinny:
No. There is not airline more unreliable than Frontier. I got an amazing deal Pesach and they canceled my flight the day. Hold time was no less than 45 minutes and I had to spend $1,700 on last minute tickets to get my family home!
The service might have gotten bad on Frontierbecause of their shift to the ow cost carrier model, but it IS considered a safe and “normal” airline,its been around for years
Do u pay for seats? Or only if u want to reserve seats?
@Yuey: Yuey: the same thing happened to me last year and after incessantly fighting with Frontier I got $200 per person vouchers and all of my expenses including lodging for extra nights in Florida covered by Frontier via check.
Do I need a ticket for a 11 month old baby ?
Not if you want to hold him. Yes of you want a seat for the baby
Anything to and from LA?
@Sam: no. But at this price, book your infant a seat and bring his carseat. Instead of holding him the whole time.
@Chaim: @chana k:
Thanks !!! Awesome idea
can you refund the priceline ones?
Yeah, taking a baby as a lap child when seats are $15 seems, um, nuts!
@help:
Yes, but call to see exactly when the deadline is as it’s not the same as other airlines.
I booked in a hurry…. didn’t really think it through. And obviously not a pro…should have booked my infant a seat at that price. Now, I have a dif problem…my infant turns 2 during the trip! she will be 2 Oct 30 and we return Nov 3. Will they give me a problem?
@ds nah just tell them the kid is still under 2. it’s not like there gonna ask for id for the baby lol
Which is a better deal, Frontier or the $53 American Airlines that you posted? Does American also charge for checked in baggage and carry-ons? What are all the add on fees I should expect on either airline?
Some airlines require a valid birth certificate to see the age of the baby. Check this airlines policy .
@dreaming:
Why would you not buy a child a seat at these prices??
@Dan: It was me who didn’t buy a ticket for my baby. wasn’t thinking just trying to get the tickets. Now I realized that the baby will turn 2 while we are there. Will they be difficult about that? It’s possible my husband and son won’t use their tickets…will that make a difference?
@ds:
Anyone under 18 can use anyone’s ticket…
@Dan: Thank you!
Of curse the airline was buy for spirit, wrd the same owners
@Dan:
What do you mean by that? A Ticket can be issued in my mother’s name, and i can just use it for my 5 year old kid, even though the ticket is booked for a 50 year old with a different name?
@Deal Guy:
Yes.
Frontier Airlines from LGA only has the deals from/to Atlanta, Denver, and Miami. Their flights from Trenton NJ (TTN), however, are only an apprx. 1.5 hour drive from NYC (less than most stopover delays on the 1-stop flights), and many destinations from Trenton are NONSTOP (i.e to Chicago, Minneapolis, and others). Many dates available, no advance purchase required.
I needed a flight on short notice to MSP for a shiva. Booked it on Aug. 24 for a flight on Aug. 26, return Aug. 27. Paid $78 round trip!
Frontier extra charges and policies caveat: Frontier allows only a personal bag (i.e size of a purse, laptop, fits under the seat in front of you, etc.) for free. Carry on bags are $30 extra, checked bags are $25. Pre-selecting seats are $9 extra each way (if you are flying with multiple passengers and want to assure you sit together, or you care for aisle, window, etc.). You can also choose better seats for $18 or $30 extra instead of the $9, depending on the seats and if the $9 choice seats are still available.
A warning regarding the baby seat: Frontier charges $30 for each carry-on. They only allow a small personal bag for free. It is conceivable that they may (or may not) try to stick you with the additional $30 charge for the car seat. Try to get confirmation (in writing) from them in advance that they will not charge extra for the baby’s car seat. (If the rep won’t agree to grant the seat for free, you can always HUCA.)
@Baruch:
Carseats and strollers are free, federal law.
@Dan:
The airline asks you for the date of birth when making the ticket, so how is it possible to use a 50 year olds ticket for a 5 year old? They wont see something is up when you go to the counter to check a bag?
Are you simply referring that they are not required to show id to get past the tsa, and of course once you are past the tsa, then it would be the same as anybody using their friends ticket, just its even better than that? Because a friend can be stopped by the tsa at the gate and be asked to show id again, while a kid will never be asked to show id, so they will just fly as if they are the other person?
Can an adult fly with a New York City ID card?
@Deal Guy:
Ages aren’t on a ticket anywhere, it’s meaningless.
My 1 year old daughter flies on BA awards as a 101 year old every time.
Anyone under 18 doesn’t need an ID for their ticket, any ticket will work for them.
@Dan: Boarding passes that were issued by an in airport agent for a recent family trip showed “Child Boarding Pass” for the children that were under 18, and “Boarding Pass” for the others.
@Anonymous:
That’s mattered for me exactly zero times.
@Dan:
Only domestically?
Also its technically against the rules for a kid to fly on someone else’s ticket, just you are saying that they won’t get caught, right?
In your 1 year olds case, I’m assuming the name is correct just the date of birth is wrong. In that case, she is so using a ticket with her exact name. I was asking with regards to using a ticket make in a grandmother’s name which can be different both in 1st and last names?
I booked 6 round trip tickets last night from Trenton to Chicago-from Wed Chol Hamoed until Isru Chag Sukkos for $240!
Thanks, Dan!
@Deal Guy:
Of course obly domestic, for international kids need an ID.
Not sure what’s so complicated here that it needs to be spelled out this much.
How do you expect them to care about names when there’s no ID??
@Dan:
I hear ya.
But i guess don’t try to use a ticket made out to David for Esther. That may cause some issues if tsa sees the first name or if they see it at boarding.
After all, tsa will ask to see esther’s ticket, since they don’t usually let non passengers go through security,and good luck telling them that 7 year old Esther is really David
Tailored a ticket be segments to get to il for yom tov
Have a rt Ly Lhr to tlv
Prob won’t use the return
Can my sibling same last name use return portion?
From tlv to Lhr
are there still seats available? Their site seems messed up. If i choose IAD-MIA, it shows IAD-MEM
Is this deal still active?? Thanks
@sara: Not true. I was asked to provide a birth cert for my 20 month old.
