don

How can I book with points?

Dan

Sale.

@don:
With Sapphire Reserve?
Just login to the UR portal and click use points to search for a flight to redeem points:
https://ultimaterewardspoints.chase.com/auth/login

Or you can buy from anywhere and $300 will be credited back to you per year.

Dan, I know it’s not on the post, but anything to Montréal?

danfan

Is this a rule of thumb, any flight or hotel or car found on a third party website, be bought with the 1.5 evaluation on chases website??

RY

Dan do you think it worth booking it for israel in pesach? I’m thinking EWR-AMS with Delta $446 plus need to find a cheap AMS-TLV, do you think it worth it or i should wait for better options?Thanks!

yossi

Hi Dan,

Just curious is Avios garbage when flying to London? They charge 26000 points +$1468 for 2 ppl. When its $1250 when paying with straight points. What am I missing?

Dan

@danfan:
Generally speaking, yes.

@RY:
Depends on the cost of AMS-TLV.

@yossi:
Avios are good for flights without fuel surcharges. They’re not good for London.

I Love Dan

There is no JFK-LON on United.

Nan

Dan, Is there a way to use delta or united points for this with the low mileage count of 29k? Or do I need to have this specific credit card??
