Trying to do this now before 12! when I click change to rebook the flight I can’t enter the promo code anywhere..do I have to actually cancel the flight to rebook using the promo

Do you think I’ll lose the tickets in between? Traveling with 7 people don’t want to end up with nothing

As long as the new award is cheaper than the old one when you price it out for 7 passengers, go ahead and cancel and rebook.
