If you have a Sapphire Reserve card you can redeem points for 1.5 cents each towards travel. If you have a  Sapphire Preferred or Ink Preferred, you can redeem points for 1.25 cents each towards travel.

You can login to your account and redeem Chase points for travel here. The one-way cost will be 1,206 points with a Sapphire Reserve. That rate include all taxes and you will still earn flight miles as well!

Is 1 hour a reasonable time to have to wait for luggage? If your trip was delayed by airlines does that delay insurance compensate?

ED

It’s unusual. But I have waited that long. IDK about getting compensation. maybe. u can try asking the airlines or insurance for some compensation. It’s free to ask…
