- Newark to Los Angeles: $72
- JFK to Los Angeles or Ontario: $81

For example, from NYC to Orlando it’s just $4 to upgrade to Blue:

Can someone explain this to me
You can buy extra seats if you want to guarantee empty seats next to you by making the first name of the ticket EXTRASEAT with your last name. You’ll even get double your baggage allowance!
It’s seems to be English.
Does blue plus come with a bag?
if book with Jetblue cc do you get a free carryon?
You would get a free checked bag, but JetBlue is unique in not allowing a carry-on for cardholders.
Thank you!
When purchasing an EXTRASEAT, do you get a boarding pass for that to be able to show that the empty seat is yours?
Yes
JetBlue will not give me seats next to my kids. They said they know what the dot says and I still have to wait 24 hours before to get seats.
Thanks Dan just booked!
Dan: Are you aware of the current awful delays and horrible treatment going on for the past 12 hours regarding Jet Blue #1316 originally scheduled LAX – JFK 7/29 11:59 , now scheduled for 7/30 3:30 PM (if they are not lying again)? Unsuccessfully tried to register and post on the forum all the details.
My dtr and soninlaw and 4 children were scheduled JB #1316 7/29 11:59 PM.
Received email from JB that flt was delayed to 7/30 2:45 AM. Saw email after Shabbos.
Another email at 8:08PM warned that TSA at LAX closes at 1AM so need to get through security before that.
At 9:45 PM received email that “delay has been reduced to 12:30 AM”.
Rushed to airport and checked in. When they arrived at the gate , posted departure time was 2:45AM. Gate agent explained that the email for the delay reduction was sent out just so people would come to the airport before TSA closed at 1 AM, but in fact it was not true that the delay was reduced!
Passengers were told that JB was having “computer issues”. 8:30 PM flight boarded at 11:30 PM.
Agents were requested to provide water bottles for the little children. The were told to use the airport water fountains. No food or drink vouchers were provided. Anyway stores at LAX were closing.
Finally boarded at 2:30 AM, while on board were told that they are waiting to refuel. After 45 min were told “there is no fueler to be had currently at the airport” and at 3:15AM everyone was forced to deplane. My dtr had to wait on the jetway ramp 30 min with her baby until finally the pilot himself climbed down to retrieve her baby’s stroller for her.
Line to speak to gate agents at that time to try to rebook was 2 hours long! Tried to arrange a flight via phone and was told it would cost $160 change fee per ticket if they made the changes via phone!
Gate agents announced that fuel will arrive at 4AM and they will be pulling the flight crew from the next flight to fly their flight and they would be on the way by 6AM. That was a lie. 5:45 AM and 6:55 AM flights took off with their flight crews leaving #1316 passengers behind. Gate agent Luke told my soninlaw that they should get compensated because everything is JetBlue’s fault.
Latest is that flight is now scheduled to take off 3:30PM (so far 15 hours delayed). After initially saying they had no food or water, they then brought out some snacks and large water jugs with cups. They finally provided some food vouchers in the morning but refused hotel vouchers claiming that check in times are after 3 PM so they would not be able to use them anyways. Gate agent claimed to have checked with “all the airport hotels”!!
Agents said they could not book them on another airline.
Absolutely outrageous!!
