  • Note that not all fares are available on all airlines listed on all dates!
  • Use a card like Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card, Ink Business Preferred® Credit Card, or Chase Sapphire Reserve® to earn 2-3 Chase points per dollar spent and get free trip cancellation/interruption insurance, travel accident insurance, luggage insurance, trip and luggage delay protection, and more!

Delta has excellent first class fares from just $174 each way between NYC and Fort Lauderdale or Miami, which are normally $400-$700 each way. In addition to a more comfortable and spacious seat, you’ll get priority check-in and boarding, be able to request a kosher meal onboard, and you’ll get 2 free 70 pound checked bags with priority baggage handling.

Pro tip: If you are flying Delta to/from JFK or LaGuardia and have The Platinum Card® from American Express, The Business Platinum Card® from American Express, Delta SkyMiles® Reserve American Express Card, or the Delta SkyMiles® Reserve Business American Express Card for lounge access, you can now get complimentary delicious freshly made Fresko meals in the SkyClub! These are significantly better than the Regal meals served onboard the flight. Sadly, domestic short-haul first class does not include lounge access without a lounge membership or qualifying credit card.

Before everyone comes here to ask:

Booking this flight will NOT get you into the lounge. You will need an alternative method of getting in (credit card, status, day pass etc).

Moshe

Dan – you write to/from LGA. Does amex platinum get you skyclub access when landing in LGA on a Delta flight?

EliJelly

Do you need to order these kosher meals in advance or do they have them always in stock?

Fiddlin

I have not been able to find any dates at these prices for First Class. Guess I’m too late?
