Update 2: Several commenters are reporting that faxes are no longer needed! All Delta supervisors should now have access to everyone’s Priceline itineraries and are able to rebook them. You should be able to call now and confirm your reservations, let us know how it goes!
Update: Delta is honoring the tickets for everyone who made a priceline reservation by 1pm during the glitch last Thursday and never got a confirmation!
-Just call Priceline to get a copy of your priceline contract at 203-299-8000. You can also login to your Priceline account, click on “My Trips,” and then wait a minute for a chat button to popup in the bottom right of your browser.
-Then fax it to Delta at 801-575-3000 and/or 888-286-3163 (their fax line is very busy, so keep trying if it doesn’t go through; services like faxzero.com allow you to send faxes for free online) and make it attention to SLC Reservation Customer Experience Supervisor. Make sure your contact details are there as well as commenters and DDF members are already getting callbacks from their fax to confirm their tickets.
-There’s a long backlog so just be patient and wait for the callback!

While thousands of people successfully booked insanely cheap tickets thanks to the Delta glitch on Thursday, some people got emails that their tickets were never confirmed.
In those cases you should contact Delta directly to work to get it confirmed. Try to get to a Delta supervisor in the Salt Lake City call center where several people have been able to get their tickets honored.
You should be sure to check your SPAM folder as many confirmation emails wound up there.
-DDF member Proisrael, who first posted the deal on the DansDeals Forums, got such a cancellation email from Orbitz. While Orbitz offered no help he was able to eventually find a Delta agent to help him and get his 7 tickets reinstated. He found a Delta manager, explained that Delta had made the press release that they were honoring the tickets, and the agent agreed to finalize the booking.
-DDF member emek booked 3 tickets from JFK to Los Angeles for $45 each on Orbitz. He also never received the eticket numbers and got the Orbitz cancellation email. He even filed a DoT complaint.
He called Delta tonight and while they resisted as the tickets were never confirmed the agent did eventually accept a copy of the original Orbitz confirmation and honored the $45 fare.
-The Boston Herald also shares a story where a DansDeals Forum member booked through Orbitz and had a similar problem. In that story the paper helped the member get Delta to honor the tickets as well.
-Some commenters on the original deal have also had success getting Delta to honor the tickets even after an Orbitz cancellation email.

BH I had success in booking a total of 17 flights for $25.41 each on priceline. If you didn’t get the email from priceline then check your spam folder for some reason priceline emails have been going to spam at least on Gmail. I know a bunch gmail users that had this problem.
I thought my ticket hadn’t gone through as I never got to the confirmation page. But I saw that I was charged for the tickets, happened that I had received a Priceline confirmation in my Spam.

Never got the email but got a confirmation number from Priceline immediately after the booking. When using the confirmation number to log in, it says that it is no longer available from that airline and here are my other options.

Call Delta and ask for a manager or someone that you can email the itinerary to and ask them to honor it based on the press release they put out.
You may have to call several times until you find an agent or manager that can help you.

I spoke to Delta for a while about the Priceline thing. The agent was really nice and helpful and sounded like she really did want to book it for me but she said she couldn’t do anything with just a Priceline itinerary number. It wasn’t in their systems at all. When I spoke with Priceline all the agent kept saying was “sorry it didn’t work for you yesterday but you could rebook it today!” — uhhhh

Used Priceline to book.
I got a reservation # on the next screen after making payment for the booking. We never received an email from priceline. I contacted priceline and delta a few times.
Priceline said they never made the booking and the reservation # which I gave them is not a definite booking till I receive an email from them with Electronic ticket numbers.
Delta said they would have honored the price if I had an electronic ticket number-but of course won’t in my situation.
Any ideas at this point?

I am also a victim of priceline both myself and my sister were booking thru priceline and after 20 minutes of waiting for the confirmation it never processed. After all morning on the phone with priceline as it is impossible to get a live agent I was told only Delta can help. I just got off the phone with two Delta agents and to no avail am in the same boat NO TICKETS to LA!
1) i just called delta for the second time regarding my cancellation.
2) made sure to speak to supervisor.
3) began my convo asking him about how he is enjoying the final week of the year. (always helps opening the convo on a friendly note)
4) he told me that since Friday, Delta, has reassessed their position on these cancellations & he has honored my tickets.

Does anyone who booked with Priceline have a screenshot or email showing the flights and price? Without that, Delta wouldn’t have any way to know what flights you booked and what fare you were quoted.

Supervisor at Deltais telling me that with only a Priceline number they cannot reinstate the ticket. However, if the ticket had been reserved but later canceled they would honor the fare and reissue tickets. Unfortunately, she said this is not the case with the majority of Priceline attempted bookings where we received message saying taking longer and look for confirmation email in 15 minutes. Said she has been receiving calls about priceline tickets all night. If there is not a cancelled reservation in Delta system they will not issue tickets. @Ben did you have a cancelled reservation??? Did you only have the priceline number? She said priceline screenshot would not help either. So close, so disappointed.
Call price line at the end of there first message press 1 that you don’t have a itinerary number then put in your phone number when they say they have a record push 2 for wrong itinerary then they will transfer you to a human

I had the same thing with priceline where I got an itinerary number and they promised to email me within 15 minutes but never did. I have that screen shot as well as the one of the posted fare with all of my info filled in and the purchase my ticket button. I filed a complaint with the DOT, they didn’t seem to understand because they responded by asking for the ticket confirmation email and the proof of credit card being charged. I tried explaining again and I’m waiting for a response. They did indicate that the number of complaints is very important, so it’s probably a good idea for everyone to do so to put pressure on priceline to make good.

Priceline seems to be the problem. Every other booking website has been helping their customers. We should put some pressure on priceline. Everyone should write comments on their facebook posts and private message them on facebook.

Delta would not honor the tickets without a delta confirmation. However, they offered me $50 ticket voucher per ticket. Then they changed their mind and only were willing to give me the voucher if booked then. We compromised and I got a $300 dollar voucher ;( (Priceline really messed us all over)

Orbitz tickets were cancelled…..DELTA HONORED THEM. IM CONFIRMED, BOOKED, AND TICKETED!!!
2 tickets round trip LAX TO Maui, Hawaii $17.58 total.
Booked tix through orbitz during glitch. My credit card got charged and I was issued orbitz confirmation # and delta confirmation #. Orbitz then cancelled tickets. Heres what I did:
1. Called delta to pick seats, they said orbitz never actually fully processed tickets. I debated rep for 30 mins to no avail. Who blamed orbitz.
2. Called orbitz who were horrible and blamed delta and said only delta could help. Call lasted 2 hours.
3. Placed a 3 way call between myself, orbitz, and delta… Hilarious! They literally argued with each other while I listened for 90 mins. Within first 10 mins delta rep told orbitz rep that company notice was sent around to honor all tickets booked directly through them and third parties. Orbitz literally refused delta reps orders to reissue the tickets because they had been cancelled already. Dead end.
4. 3 way call again with orbitz again refusing deltas orders to reissue cancelled tickets. This time the delta rep took it personally and went way up the delta corporate chain. Orbitz again refused. Dead end.
5. Same Delta rep from previous call, called my cell Friday at noon. She was so offended by orbitz horrible customer service, she picked up an extra shift on fri morning just to come in and deal with my situation. She told me she spent 115 minutes on hold with orbitz ticketing dept and got no where! She then took it upon herself to have the delta higher ups cut orbitz out of the equation. She reissued my tix directly through delta and honored the prices! She was an angel. She took my battle on for me!
To accomplish this you MUST have all of the following:
1. Third party website confirmation #
2. Delta confirmation #
3. Your CC must have been charged, even if it was refunded, it must have been charged at original time of tix purchase.
4. A very determined and open minded delta rep.
IT CAN BE DONE!!! I am proof.

I was never actually ticketed in my original tix purchase. I just had confirmation # from delta and orbitz.

Friend just got his priceline itinerary honored after lots of hucas. They said they can’t take any screenshots by email. So he just told them what he booked and how much it was, they said they can’t match the exact price so just rounded it up a bit.
He said he book first class (think he actually only tried economy) ended up getting 2 first class tickets to LA!!

I tried Delta and Priceline both cannot help me since I don’t have a confirmation number only the Priceline Itinerary number. Priceline said that from the time Delta fixed their system until Priceline fixed theirs all those tickets were not ticketed

I booked one set of tixx through Delta.com which ticketed right away. I went to book a second one but the site crashed so I went to a dutch site called Vliegtickets.NL. Got my confirmation email and saw that my CC was charged. Figured it was worth a shot.
Got an email 24 hours later saying it was cancelled. OK, 1 out of 2 is fine. Read after shabbos on FT that they were honoring the tickets, you just had to call Delta and walk the agent through it.
I called up and it took about 50 minutes but she was able to find our names on the dates and flight numbers as a reservation (not through a PNR) and the helpful agent rebuilt the fares through the numbers of our first fare that we had booked with Delta.com. This actually came out $30 cheaper than the European site since we didnt have to pay any of the fees.
If you have any reservations through this site…call call call! Be patient and friendly on the phone and you will be happy!

What I just found out in the last few minutes is that when you call priceline ask to speak with costumer relation and get from them a copy of your contract page. Then fax it over to Delta @ 801-575-3000 ATT: SLC Reservation customer Experience supervisor. Leave them your phone number and they will call you back to speak with you- hopefully to issue you the tickets.

We should flood Priceline with calls saying: We are very unhappy with the way Priceline conducts themselves and really going to think twice about booking through them since they don’t book right away and don’t guarantee the price they are quoting. Other sites booked right away thereby getting Delta to honor the deal. And where was the email that was supposed to have come in 15 minutes at least tell me the status of my ticket.

I spoke with the customer relations department who was able to locate whats called “contract page.” Delta said you did not need to have been confirmed, but you need to prove that you tried booking during the glitch. As the above have said received an email from priceline but only a supervisor can do it of my contract call the number on pricelines homepage, enter your phone number and then press 2 to get connected to a supervisor for the contract page, you must insist because priceline supervisor LIED TO ME FRIDAY morning and said they do not see any itinerary for me which i now have in my email!! after I posted a comment on their face book page – they emailed me, communicated via Facebook instant massanger and finally called me HA HA – this is the number that they called from 212-444-0022 – the rep was able to email me the contract page.
I just got my contract from priceline, I called Delta, they did not honor it.
This past Thursday there was a glitch in the fares that were published. Some of the fares were ticketed and some of them weren’t. For those that purchased through priceline and only received a priceline itinerary number, it will not be honored because there was never an actual ticket confirmed.

I followed the instructions everyone has suggested,got my priceline contract and faxed it to the above mentioned Delta number now lets hope for the best. In the meanwhile I am going to contact the DOT and put in a complaint about priceline and see if that helps

what’s the best way to contact priceline today?
Priceline is a bunch of unhelpful obnoxious agents who don’t seem to care. They just repeat over and over sorry there is nothing we can do. I wrote a post on their page and got a call from an obnoxious women who again repeated sorry there is nothing we can do. It’s as if all of their reps were programed to repeat the same line. I found that delta was much more helpful however I have yet to get my request ticketed. However they did say to fax the Priceline contract to their Salt Lake City office and hopefully it will be ticketed.
Just called the regular Delta customer service number and spoke to a very nice woman in the Dallas call center. She confirmed for me that where I faxed my Priceline Contract (number mentioned above) at the Salt Lake City call center a team of supervisors has been set up to research each contract they receive and ticket the ones that were contracted in the correct time frame. Hope this works out as they are promising.

Until last Thursday I did not have an account nor did I intend to open an account with Priceline since I like to book directly with the airline.
But the post from Dan had the Priceline link to book through so I thought it’s the only way to get in on this glitch. Had I known I wouldn’t have gone on Priceline, I should just close my Priceline account.

booked with priceline, never got a confirmation. just got off the phone with friendly delta agent who gave 100 dollar voucher. they explained that if the ticket was at any point booked with delta, i.e. got a delta conf. number, and then cancelled, they would reissue it and honor the fare. otherwise, no can do. She explained that certain destinations are only actually booked after the several hrs so if the third party issuer (priceline) didnt actually issue the ticket before 1:00 then they arent going to honor it. Kinda sucks.
Got my priceline contract page–finally–1st priceline rep said no info can be sent. supervisor quickly did it.
Hoever,Delta still wants a confirmation number they can look up before they will re-ticket. Priceline said they have no other number they can give me.
I asked the Delta supervisor to check on the salt lake city
angle as per Esther’s post-just got off the phone with him.
He said Delta corporate is RIGHT NOW discussing the issue with Priceline on a conference call-further info very soon.
He took my number and said he would call when he knew more.
He admitted some Delta reps were actually booking priceline reservations on their own without a Delta confirmation number-that is stopped for now till corporate decides what to do with us Priceliners–who have reservations without a home.
If any of you do have a ticket number on your Priceline contract page then you’re good to go even now. Call them and they will help you now.

The ceo of Delta is on the phone with the ceo of Pricline. They are discussing what to do with all the unticketed fares.
They should have an answer soon.

I called Priceline and they emailed me my contract page. When I spoke with Delta, they said I need the airline record locator from Priceline (whenever you make a reservation with Priceline, it creates a “dummy reservation” with the airline you’re flying with). On the phone with Priceline now, she said she’ll help me with it. We’ll see what happens…
Oh well, she said that since the reservation didn’t go through, there’s no airline record locator..
Small chance its going to be approved

The Delta rep I spoke to said they are being honored. Priceline was not supposed to stop ticketing when they did.
Sue, a supervisor at Salt Lake city just told me that within 48 hours the priceline contracts will have tickets.
I kept asking her why the supervisers at Cincinatti were saying the oposite “no ticket locator- no ticket” ? and she said just trust me on this one.

What do you mean by “contract”. All I have is the itinerary number from Priceline. When I go into my Priceline account and enter it; it comes up as “booking failure”. I have no record other than the itinerary number. Should I call Priceline or Delta?

Priceline. Get the contract from them. If you have an itinerary number, despite the booking failure, you have a contract.

Its siimple…call the priceline number…select that you dont have ur itinerary number…then give them ur number…they will then give you ur itinerary number…selec #2 that it is not the correct #…u will then b transferred to a live rep very quickly…the rep offered to email me the contract as soon as i gave him the itinerary #…without me even asking 🙂

Was referred to corporate by a delta supervisor, in the interim he created a reservation and offered to heavily discount full priced tickets down to $171 per ticket. A Delta supervisor in Salt Lake City told me she believed all those who faxed in their priceline contract pages will be approved as long as the time stamp is between 10am and 1pm EST. Delta is looking for a “receipt” for the priceline booking. (Not sure what the term “receipt” means to Delta)
They will attempt to call all those who they want to re-ticket. This process will take a few days. So make sure you fax them all the info with your contact info-including name, phone number(s) and email addresses. Of course, don’t make any non-refundable reservations till you know for sure.

Look at post 211 as to how to speak with priceline and request a supervisor if the initial rep doesn’t know about obtaining a contract page. They’ll email you very quickly with it once you find the right person.

I booked at 12:09pm, saw the “will receive email in 15 minutes”, have a code from priceline and never received email. It comes up on Priceline as booking failure. I got the contract from priceline but did not have success when contacting Delta. Should I go ahead and fax it anyway?

I wish we would have a better handle as to when Delta will respond to our complaints and faxes-I’m still receiving priceline emails stating you’re out of luck. The last Priceline sup I spoke to tonight believes some of us will get the fares-but not all. It’s all up to Delta’s discretion. I never heard back from the Delta rep who took my phone numbers and hoped to respond with an answer shortly (that was 6 hrs ago)

Im one of the “priceline people” , only had confirmation itinerary #, no confirmation email. After several hours of talkng with managers at Delta, I did BH get my tickets confirmed via 1st class for myself and my wife.

Call Priceline,do not give the automated system your itinerary # , tell it to find via ur telephone, keep pressing 2 (meaning that what they ask you is not the trip you are calling in regards to) then it wil transfer you to a live representative. You will have the representative email you your booking, not just your itinerary # but your full itinerary with prices and flight #’s and times etc that you actually booked. You will then call priceine and say you booked but priceline does not have the pnr/delta locator # as it wasn’t booked bec it was not honored. You will keep telling them I booked and priceline coudn’t ticket me bec it was not honored you will tell them that you have proof of booking that you can email to them and they wll tell you e dont accept email and you will say so what can i read you from this email priceline just sent me to prove to you… or you will say i have a screenshot of my itinerary confirmation….you will say i saw on the news many people had this issue that they weren’t ticketed but had confirmation of itinerary and delta did come out honoring as they said those booking are included in their honorings…quote them from the article ask them to check out the link of the bostonherald…compare yourself to that parent who thankfully got his disney trip for his family honored..quote them then name of the people from deta in that article and what they said…be very very patient and keep talking to diff managers, it took me over 5 hours, but u WILL get there.

i just called delta and spoke to a very sweet woman who told me the fares will 100% be honored even if i never got charged and i never had a delta reservation code. I recorded the whole conversation – she said they will start going thru faxes today and will be calling and ticketing everyone. I hope im not giving false hope but this info certainly put me to rest im gonna stop calling now- especially since i have it recorded! (in regard to priceline booking that never got confirmed made at 11:52 am)

They said they will be honoring the tickets as long as it was during the glitch. So you have to fax the contract page and they will go through each one individually. If you tickets were between 10 am and 1 pm then your tickets will be honored! Wahoooo!!!!!

Yes, it is the dates on the contract. However, I did it in haste and am only going for 3 days, I want it extended… I faxed it 801-575-3000.. She said she will call me back in 2 hours while I think about it, I will beg her but she didnt sound like someone to be reckoned with! Maybe someone nicer will call me back 🙂

I want to get these prices for different dates! I was hoping maybe the flights are full and they would have to offer different dates but no luck!!

Just spoke to priceline. Less than 5 mins on hold. Agent knew exactly what I was referring to. Emailed me contract page immediately and told me they received confirmation from delta that they will be honoring all the flights.

question- tried faxing to the 801-515-3000 number but it’s busy so i sent the fax to the 888 number. when i tried calling it’s the same automated system. even when i get a person they ask for my confirmation number or the cc number. if i was never billed then what should i say/do?

Just called Delta, as we booked a group to go to 770 for Yud Shvat, BezH – and the tickets are for next weekend.
They said they are swamped with faxes, and are prioritizing the earlier flights to be called first BezH.
What a bracha BezH! We had booked a large group a few weeks ago, but a number of people couldn’t afford to go. BH our prayers were answered and BezH all will be able to go!

Call them, tell them you don’t have your itinerary number, when they prompt you, give them your phone number, when they read to you different options asking you if that’s the ticket that you are calling about, say no, they will connect you to an agent in a few minutes.
I have a more complicated story, I re-booked on the same flight just in business class, my economy tickets went through on Thursday but not the business class ones, (I was going to cancel the first set as soon as the second set was ticketed, within 24 hours), I got my price-line contract for the second set.
Any chance that delta will cancel the first set and honor the second set?

Success! I got my contract page from Priceline and then faxed it over to Delta yesterday. Delta called this morning and they are honoring the tickets! I had one glitch they are charging me more than the original ticket price, but am I the process of re faxing my contract page to get the original $25/each way honored. Keep in mind they are inundated with calls and they are making mistakes with reservations, so be patient and be sure to check over and confirm the original reservations against the Delta reservation. Lots of luck to everyone!

call priceline, press the option taht you dont have your itinerary number. then put in phone number. when they say your itinerary, press the option that its wrong. i then waited 5 minutes and spoke to a rep who then sent the contract

I spoke with a delta manager. You need to tell them since Priceline is an “authorized agent” for delta, there is an agency relationship. And from the press release delta issued that it would honor the tickets, it should also honor tickets is diluted from its agents, i.e priceline. They bought my logic and honored the priceline tickets even though I never got my seats confirmed from delta

Thanks to all of the commenters for all of their ideas and information. Thanks to comment # 165& 211 I spoke with a priceline agent last night at 11pm. Took about 3 minutes to have them email me the contract. I faxed using Faxzero(Thank you Comment # 215) at 11:15 pm and I received a call from Delta today at 1:23pm confirming my 8 tix to PHX for winter break.

Just Spoke to a delta supervisor, you must send it only to 800-575-3000 this is the fax setup for that.
Keep trying as they will honor anything that comes to that fax.
Not 100% clear on what to send, in supervisors words, ‘anything documentation showing proof of the purchase’ I take that to include the itinerary or contract from priceline.
For safety, I included my cell under the title ‘callback’ on the cover of the fax.
For ease of restarting after each failed fax I have saved a copy in my email drafts.

The priceline number published above puts you on hold FOREVER (over an hour) and then the operator transfered me to the automated service. Based on prior comments, I went through the chat option, and received the contract in less than 2 minutes.
To get to the chat, you need to log into Priceline and a popup should ask you if you want a chat.
I also used the fax provided above, and was required to submit it multiple times for it to be sucessful.
I am waiting for a phone call…..biting my nails.

@danfan!!!: I called priceline several times. The Indian reps couldn’t help me. Then, an american rep picked up, looks like they’re much more familiar with priceline’s system, and within 30 seconds the contract was in my inbox.

@adam after giving priceline your phone number, when they ask you to confirm the itinerary they have on file say its the wrong one. that should transfer you to a rep. then ask them to email you the priceline contract.

– I had faxed my priceline contract at 10pm last night to both #s: 1888-286-3163 & 801-575-3000 (the confirmation came from the first #) along with cover letter with name, phone and email ATTN: SLC Reservation Customer Experience Supervisors.
– Delta agent i spoke to told me they will be calling and confirming ALL tickets… she said fax lines very tied up, just keep trying…

Did you book with priceline before 1PM EST?
You have a reservation # from priceline, right?
So if you go to the priceline website to search for your reservation by entering the email address you used to make the purchase and the last 4 digits of the credit card # used the following page gives you the reservation # and then clicking on that should give you a pg that says we couldn’t complete the booking but at the top should indicate how many adults/children were on the initial request along with the dates you had requested to fly out on as well as the cities of departure and arrival.
If you can see that-so can priceline and they should find your contract page. I hope it works out for you. I know you’re trying.
Those Priceline Itinerary people who have received the calls back from Delta, are they booking you with the original, 1st Class seats, or are they booking you in Coach?

@BB: Thanks BB, that didn’t work for me either but i did get a supervisor from priceline after an more than an hour to send me an email stating the time i attempted to book (12:23) and the price that the tickets were ($78.80) and i can see the dates and destination on my priceline homepage even though it says booking failure so i really hope that will be enough. it seems it was a glitch and somehow a contract page was never generated for my attempted booking.

Acc to delta supervisor in 2 different locations, the fax line(s) are shut down and I was advised to call back tomorrow when they have a better system in place for handling all the requests coming in.

To all people that asked me. I faxed last night 2 both numbers. I wanted to be sure they receive it. I saw 2 missed calls on my ID at about 3:15 pm. I called back their reservation number and they already had my name in the computer. The rep was still unsure if im getting a ticket or not. But once i told her im sure that theyre honoring it and that she should ask a supervisor she booked my tickets.
Is all I have to say is keep on trying to fax to 801-575-3000. I have been trying since this am, and it just finally went through!

@SM sorry couldn’t answer earlier I had faxed this morning took about 1 hr until fax went through , my fax redials only 3x so I had redo about 4x and then it went through approx 11:30 or so and within 2 hours a delta rep called myself and my sister as I had faxed all together. We both did write an entire cover letter of everything that happened after I pushed the submit button Thurs Dec 26th at 12:15 and made numerous phone calls to Delta and Priceline since Thurs night and names of reps at both and supervisor names. Did it help in pushing it through, maybe but guys continue to call priceline and get your contracts my email came within 2 minutes as I would not let priceline supervisor off the phone until I saw it in my inbox! GOOD LUCK and don’t give up!!

I faxed twice today, twice yesterday. My booking was at 11:53am thru Priceline. The flight is for Jan 19th. I had no problem obtaining the Priceline contract but despite calling Delta 3 times yesterday and twice today, no one has called me back yet! Waiting impatiently!!!!

@Kollel man. call back the 203 number. when they ask you to put it the itinerary number say you dont know it. type in your phone number that you used to book the flight. when they ask you to confirm if they have the correct booking, say that they dont. that should connect you to a representative. then ask them to email you your priceline contract. hatzlacha!!!

Sibling got same booking confirmed earlier today. One other party that booked still waiting for a call. They faxed the contract earlier on Sunday than the others and have the same dates, so it seems a bit random as far as call back timing. Hang in there!

FYI keep trying to fax in 1 minute after the next there is always at least a 1 minute time lapse between other people faxing in as well.

Got a call about 8 p.m. tonight from Delta. Asked for my cc info and all the dates of birth and my tix were confirmed. It was for a Jan 23 departure.

Part of the hold up was I wanted the amex gold card to avoid paying baggage fees-they couldn’t it over the phone-but I did it online on delta.com and got all the info #, exp and CID # to make payment–the baggage fees would have been a big hit ($50/bag/round trip)
Get one if you don’t have one – plus you get a $50 statement credit in 2-3 mos

It’s along process but it’s worth it. I waited all day for a call back and decided to just call them. I asked for a supervisor and told him I had the Priceline contract (if you never got one call them, if you have the itenerary number they will email it to you). He asked me to read him the information; flight numbers, dates, ect. and then he verified it. He put me in hold for about 39 min but came back with the tickets. I gave him my CC and that was it. I already got the confirmation email and checked my sky miles account and the tickets were there.

Just spoke to an amazing Delta supervisor in Cinncinnati- 5 tickets from JFK to LAX booked!! All I had was an itinerary number no cc was charged no confirmation email just the wait 15 min page came up… now were going to LA!!! Just make sure to speak to a supervisor and be cool dont speak to much and dont give out too much info just answer their questions and hopefully u will succeed too!! Good luck everyone!!

Shoutout to Dan from The Sonoran dessert! Got here for $70 business class. Ppl next to me were in terrible moods that the in-flight entertainment sucked. I sure made my money back just on the meal!
I just spoke to someone and she said I have to fax it to the # and it will go to the appropriate department and they will contact us before next Friday.
Just spoke with Delta. They said the papers need to be faxed, it will go to the proper department and “you guys” will get call backs before next Friday.

Don’t bother trying to fax to the 801 number, it will not go through anymore but will on the 888 number.
No more faxing Delta has the list with all the info all you need to do is give them your Priceline itinerary # and they will pull it up. Booked and ticketed Delta is pulling through
After waiting on hold for 20 minutes the supervisor came on and told me that I needed to wait for them to get to my fax and call me back tomorrow. I told him that Priceline sent all the itineraries to Delta and he had access to my info now, he knew nothing about it. HUCA…

Spoke to delta agent and got my tickets booked! Took about 15 min as he put me on hold a few times to verify and confirm with supervisor.
Question: I had booked JFK -> LAX business class for $58. I had to cancel the tickets since the return date wasn’t good for us (didn’t want to be away from the kids that long). So I called the website I had booked the tickets with within 24 hours and canceled. Since I had the actual delta confirmation number I wondered what would happen if I call Delta to try to reinstate the reservation. I just called them, gave them the confirmation number and they said they’d be happy to reinstate it (didn’t tell them that the website cancelled it b/c I told them to). She said she needs a supervisor to reinstate it and she’d need to put me on hold. I asked her if it would be possible to switch the return flight to an earlier day. She said I’d have to pay the difference in airfare (which would be huge since the new airfare would be the regular price). I asked her if it would be possible to ask the supervisor once he’s reinstating the ticket if they could just change the date. She said she could ask. I was on hold for a while. She said she didn’t know how long it would be. Was anyone able to change the date of there of their flight when they got there tickets issued again. I’m assuming it depends on the supervisor if they’re in a good mood they might do it. I told her I couldn’t hold any longer so she said I could call back tomorrow. I figure it’s worth trying and even if they say they can’t change the date then I could just say no thanks and HUCA. Any advice?
just got off the phone they are documenting all the information on your contract and going to verify it with the information from priceline that they got an hour or so ago. they will give you confirmation number to call back after 12pm eastern and everything should be up to date. she said ppl can still be contacted becuase they are working on this the whole night. its a long process for them
After waiting on hold for a half hour they told me that they can’t do anything tonight but I should call back tomorrow after 12 EST with the Priceline contract number and it should be fine.
I called delta and they booked my tickets! The whole process took about an hour but was certainly worth the wait as I am off to LA for pesach with my family Iyh! thanks Dan!!!
Yup.. update 2 is accurate… didn’t even have a price line contract… with just the contract number the delta supervisor was able to see my reservation and booked My flight. .. tx for all the updates Dan
@es21729 Same… waited for 30 minutes on hold. Supervisor in Salt Lake city said Priceline has sent them all the contracts by paper and they have a team going through all of them and will be calling customers tomorrow and beyond. Said he can’t pull anything up with Priceline contract number, and that i just need to sit tight till they get through the stack. Said they disconnected the 801 fax number!

Spoke to a top supervisor in Salt Lake City. She honored all my tickets. She explained me why they are going out of their way to do all this. They just want to make ALL their customers happy. They know how many people thought that they got the deal only to find out that priceline stopped it from being honored. We really have to appreciate what DELTA is doing for its customers, they have really gone out of their way to please us!

Waited for a supervisor, half hour. In the meantime gave all of the info to first person. Very important to do so, as it gets the ball rolling. Nice lady, but first said that she can’t do it without seeing fax…. Told her nicely, that my friend just spoke with them, and they said that they can do it without seeing the fax. So, she went back on hold for a while and came back and confirmed that she can give me a confirmation right now….but, she has to generate the reduced price by totally trusting my numbers which i read to her from my itinerary. So, she said that tomorrow I have to call back again just to make sure that the correct price went through. They did not take CC now…but did issue me a new Delta confirmation. It seems that tomorrow they will have better access to see the Priceline contract and be bale to match info against it., at which time they will take a CC number.
Just checked my Delta account-right after I hung up- and the ticket is there!!! P.S. Just created the account while on hold.
thanks ! I totally gave up with Delta. I had an unconfirmed reservation thru price line although i did get an itinerary # from priceline which they kept telling me is not a delta confirmation number. I GOT THE RESERVATION CONFIRMED TONIGHT from Delta 10 min after you posted the news. THANKS AGAIN!!!!
@LE I called back and got 2 reps on 2 different phones, waiting now for each to verify my info with a supervisor. Let’s see…
Also, since original reservation was in First class, I made sure to give her the seat numbers (which I had chosen on Priceline) and that has also been added to my Delta reservation….all without the credit card being charged!! They said either I should call them to pay tomorrow, or they will call me.

Got my unconfirmed tickets from LGA to YYZ ticketed after a few HUCA tries tonight. Some agents still don’t know supervisors have Priceline lists. So be persistent.
One thing, I was told by the supervisor taxes would now be much more ($120 and not $71) per ticket, and he made up excuses that were all in fact incorrect (initial quote was in CAD – the Priceline contract states explicitly that price is in USD, or that the USD-CAD exchange rate is much different).
In the end it worked out. Tickets booked, infant added. Just need to be patient. Right now I just got off the phone and total call was a bit over 1 hr long.
i’m holding for a supervisor for an hour and half then i decided to tell my original rep what i was calling about, she attempted to look up my reservation but of course it wasnt there so i told her that priceline told me that delta requested their contracts and they submitted them, so she put me on hold for two minutes and she came back saying that im right they did submit the contracts and they are gonna work on mine as i hold, then she asked me if she can ask me a personal question i said yes so she asked if i was directed by anyone to check out deltas mistake and thats when i ordered the tickets, i said no i was just looking to go on a vacation and i so happened to bump into those tickets, then she said that the priceline issue is the reason for the long wait because everyone is calling in to get their tickets honored, im still holding on tight………
Hi can someone please tell me what I should do if I accepted a voucher and already booked a different trip?? Should I still call and get those tickets? I’m afraid they will cancel my new trip that I used the voucher for, can someone please answer!

yay just got off the phone and we got our 6 tickets booked.. got the contract from priceline, called delta, was waiting for about an hour for supervisor, the woman at salt lake city was very nice. the tickets have to be same time/date as the original..
After waiting on hold for 3 hrs I got my tickets to SAN business. They are just verifying the price with Priceline & when they do they will contact me.
The DELTA agent asked me how I found out about the deal and also about them honoring the tickets and that the supervisors have the Priceline lists.
I didn’t tell them anything about Dansdeals – not sure what they could do, but please if you are asked do NOT mention DansDeals.
@dan – any idea what they could do?

HUCA worked here. Second time calling agent offered to call me back when she got a supervisor on the line, aside from the supervisor having issue with her computer system which took some time for her to reboot everything went smooooth. Delta and all of us who put pressure are absolutely awesome!

Thanks Dan and everyone for all your updates with this. I just called Delta and got my tickets confirmed! I only had a reservation # from Priceline. The agent that answered my call at Delta told me to call Priceline. I persisted to speak to a Delta supervisor. Supervisor said that Priceline gave them a list of reservation #’s during glitch. You really have to try again and again until you reach a supervisor that sounds like they know the scoop with the Priceline reservations.
The 801 575 3000 fax number is shut off and will no longer receive faxes. If you want your fare honored please call after 12 noon est to delta reservations and they will be able to look up your reservation by your priceline contract number. If you call tonight they are extremely busy. There is very little night staffing. Please call during regular business hours and they will be able to assist you quickly!
after 1 hour of waiting for a supervisor, than the supervisor working with me for an hour my flight was booked as of 5:20AM EST 12/31/13., from a priceline itinerary to a ticket, rt LAX-OGG 45$ !!
Thanks Dan i followed update #2 and just called Delta with my priceline itinerary # and was successful.
p.s. delta is rebooking it and will hence ask for a new credit card # to make the booking.
call up delta.
the representative might tell u the a priceline itienary is no good. ask them to check anyways if ur on the flight. give them the flight number and flight info of ur first flight. then give them ur last name. they can then just rebook ur reservation

I just got my Priceline tickets confirmed.
Instructions:
1) Don’t fax anymore, Delta is not looking at faxes! You have to call.
2)Call Delta and tell the rep that you are trying to get your priceline ticket honored. Provide all info, including contract #.
3)The rep with connect you with a supervisor, who will contact a rep from Priceline to confirm your contract. Wait time apx. 45 minutes! (yes, you have to stay on the line with them!!!)
4) Once confirmed, the supervisor will book your ticket!!!
Notes:
Business class is not honored, they are putting you in economy. You cannot change any dates.
But they are honoring ALL priceline tickets. Just got mine done.
Having suffered myself just like all of you, I feel it’s an obligation to share my info with the rest of you!

Just called delta bec I received a message from Priceline that theynwere working on my itinerary but it didn’t go through. The delta agent said in should call back at 1 bec they r getting a list from priceline at 1 pm. TIll 1 They can’t do anything. I might be going to Hawaii!!!!!!
I just got off the phone with Delta agent and supervisor said to call back after 12pm because Priceline will fax over spreadsheet for booking contracts during the glitch hours.
30 minutes with a supervisor and unconfirmed priceline itinerary got ticketed! In first class!! Just be patient and if the agent doesnt know what youre talking about, ask nicely to speak to a supervisor!
I just put down the phone with Delta and got my tickets but in economy instead of business. After speaking to a supervisor she told me that priceline didn’t send them the class info yet so they’re putting everyone in economy and I should call back afternoon and they’ll have the info from them and they will give me the business class ticket.

I just got called back got four tix to la 58 each was booked for buisness class the way there and coach they way back but I got the superviser to give me buisness the way back as well .we’ll worth the wait
I got an itinerary number (but no confirmation) from Priceline and called Delta this morning. After being put on hold (to speak to a supervisor) for 30 min, the agent herself was able to help me out and they honored my Priceline purchase. YAY!!!!

Just spent an hour on the phone with Delta customer service. After being transferred to a supervisor, they found my Priceline confirmation number and was granted my $40.10 tickets to Las Vegas. Be polite and charming and you should have no problem getting what you want. Kudos to you Dan for making us aware of these deals/price mistakes and advising us on how to capitalize on them.
Got a call from Delta at 8:30 EST this morning and they booked my priceline ticket (I had faxed them the contract yesterday morning and my flight was for 1/27). They were very nice and asked if it was too early too call and said they were debating whether 8:30 was too early but I told them that everyone is just thrilled to get the call so don’t worry
We got are tickets with out a glitch. It seems Delta has a list from priceline people who bought before 1PM. We didnt even need to show are itinerary from priceline. Just are names and they had the info. They booked up the same flight all went smooth.

Was anyone successful this morning? They are saying to call after 1:00.
I too got the Priceline confirmation page for a flight to LAX, but nothing after that. After attempts on Sat night to get satisfaction from Delta, I figured it was a lost cause, and proceeded to book a flight to PBI using capital one miles.
Although, now it looks like I could get the LAX flight, unless anyone has an idea how to get back my capital one miles, I think I am stuck.
