Airline? Stopover?
Moscow, got it..
As Dan wrote Aeroflot is the airline and stopover is moscow. The time it took you to write the comment could have been spent actually clicking on the link and getting all this info yourself.
Bravo. See how easy that was.
I see that the cheap flights are usually with a stop in Russia, Ukraine and Turkey. I’d rather pay the extra $150 than to stop in these countries.
How do I book this?
$724 for Lag Baomer May 5 return May 11
Does it work also for May & June?
Is the airport safe
@LL:
what about syria?
@Danny, did you see my 2nd comment???
03/30-04/13 (Pesach) Is showing $1213.52 🙁
@LL:
As of today it is perfectly safe to for a 3 hour stop over
Danny…what is with your attitude? Try to be a little nicer next time!
@LL: Where can you find those dates for just $150 more and stop in Switzerland or London..?
I need 3/31 – 4/13
Thanks!
Dan, I went through the Terms and could not find the language where cancellation is possible until 11:30pm ET the day after purchase. Thanks.
I was us no the app. It works only when I use safari
does it work for Lag B’omer?
leaving mon. 3/30, coming back mon. 4/13
3 or 4 hour layover in russia
plus insurance =
$658 total.
Yay! i’m going to israel for pesach!
@Mc
You are doing something wrong. I see 624 for those dates
@Dan,
Where can I see the rule to get refund until next day 1130?
which is the best place to accrue the miles for this flight?
Lag baomer is a deal
no clue why you ppl use priceline. the exact same tickets for april 1st till april 13th is $663 on skyscanner.com
the cheapest possible rate for this flight
Dan (or anyone)- any deals for end of December NYC>TLV?
@David:
Unwritten rule, but it’s valid for all flights from the US.
@cr:
Why is $663 cheaper than $624??
I found at $609 from Ukrainian Airlines leaving NYC on 2/1/15. Does anybody know if they are okay to fly with?
Has anyone found any pesach dates that dont include a stopover of over 4 hours either way?
Any non stop ?
DAN, YOU ARE THE MAN!!!
Just booked for me, my wife and baby for a total of $1324 (Priceline wouldn’t show INF fare, so I used Orbitz)
I was planning to use 126K Avios with AB, but this beets it.
Thank you!
Do I need to get insurance in order to cancel flights? Plus where does say anything about canceling b4 1130
lol dan, someone else was telling me 690, so i thought it was from here, sorry. 624 is for longer, the dates i wrote are for ppl who want to go for pesach exactly not a week before
@cr:
Read the post again
Does this work round trip from Israel or only from US
Dan- I found tickets in the summer for $801. Is that a good deal or does it pay to wait? Especially that CyberMonday is near.
Hi,
It will not let me book it with an infant under 2 on alatalia
Do i go ahead and book and call the air line?
@syria: There are no flights from Syria to Israel so you won’t find any flights to Israel with a stopover in Syria. If you ever need to get from Damascus to Tel Aviv. You can fly Royal Jordanian from Damascus to Amman and then fly Amman to Tel Aviv.
Check this out before you fly
@Shmuel
works both ways 🙂
thx dan!!
booked 3/30-4/14 for 597 ea on kayak!
post up!!!
$50 cancellation fee tho so better be sure!!!
Is Orbitz A secure site to book on?
i just bought a flight ticket 4 passover great deal !!!!
@Eli: Thanks for writing about Orbitz and infants. I first booked priceline and then call up Aeroflat to add my baby and they said i have to come down to the office to do so! So after reading your comment, i canceled my priceline booking and booked on orbitz with my baby. So thank you for saving me a trip! 😉
@Dan:Thanks for the info…we are booked to come to the US for Pesach!
Ok everyone.I flew this in the summer with my wife.safe airline and safe airport. thought the food was pretty decent. you probably cannot drink the drinks except for water and coffee. the sodas are not under any hasgacha and are from a Russian plant. otherwise the kosher food is a good hechser =chabad hasgacha.
Its working April 1 – April 13
also March 31- April 13!! (not Mar 31 – April 12 though)
Also: 2 bags free
Still deciding on flights…
Anyone suggest a good day trip while in Moscow for 8 hrs. I would book a tour with a guide to make it easiest. Is there anything of Jewish interest in area of Moscow SVO airport (NOT the Jewish Museum)
@Daniel:
I believe you may need a visa to enter Moscow. Find out b4 you plan.
@ak:
I hope you didn’t get stuck with the extra long stopover to save $28.
If anyone is booked on the night Delta flights from NYC to TLV that used to be at 9:10PM and now changed on them to 11:53PM (there were nonstop RT flights available around $900), they allowed me to cancel based on the flight time change. I’m willing to save $300 and have a short stopover.
Mother Russia, I’d rather be an orphan!
@Moish nonstop for $900?? where???
Dans would love to know if theres any deals for tlv london
Looking for good deal on flight from israel to London paisach tome and at the same time London to Switzerland
Is the deal still good on November 26?
@Dan:
No 24 hour cancellation if flying from tlv?
orbitz wasn’t working so i called customer service and they waived the usual fee of booking through them bec. the issue was with their site..
is it over? i don’t see this price.
@R S:
I had a ticket for $929 on Delta nonstop March 15 – April 19 bought in mid November. I later saw some other dates around then at the same price. There are cheaper nonstops in January.
@moish.
I booked the same stops as priceline just save some get thru kayak…
Does anybody have any good ideas on a flight from TLV to either FLL, PBI, or MIA and back to TLV for +/- Jan 10 – 15?
Which site should I use to book for Pesach from Israel to London

Do I get 24 hours to cancel if booked from Israel to NY?

@Chris Fayweather: lol:)
@rachel:
On Expedia.com for sure. I’ve done it in the past.
thank you!! i actually got $809 round trip from detroit….3 hour stop over each in new york and russia….then longer stopover in russia (8 hours) on the way home….but totally worth it!
Orbitz is not working. Priceline does not have enough tickets left at the time I want to return. Any suggestions?
Thanks Dan, taking my mom to Israel for the first time! She was so happy she started tearing up when I told her!
Is it safe to fly on a Turkish airline?
i tried it but it comes up as 706.22 not 624
@Dan:
which lounges are in svo and what do we need to get into them?
I have heard some horror stories about Aeroflot, more specifically, experiences at the airport in Russia. There was even an article in Mishpacha magazine.
Dan or anyone else, do you have any experience with Aeroflot.
Answers would be greatly appreciated.
Who gives the hechsher for the meals in and out of Russia.
