Can anyone comment on their experience with buying phones from woot? Regarding condition and battery?

Have an Excellent Shabbos!

Woot is owned by Amazon. So condition standards are probably similar to Amazons, when buying used/refurbs through them

Regarding Ware it says this on the product page:

“Hey, you there! These items are expected to have a moderate level of wear & tear including (but not limited to) scratches, dents, and dings. Outside of their physical appearance, they have been tested to be in full working condition. Batteries are tested to function at minimum 85% capacity.”

I just sold my iPhone7 (not to Woot) for $100. One may ask what relevance does that have? My phone had an internal problem where I’d talk on the phone and the receiver couldn’t hear what I was saying clearly or my words were choppy/cutoff. The Apple store did what they do best and suggested I spend $1200 for a new iPhone (they ridiculously actually blamed any issue on my carrier AT&T or the sim card). There actually was a recall on the iphone, but since it was bought 24+ months prior, the recall wouldn’t be applied for the repair or replacement. Point is— be careful buying used phones (especially iPhones). People may trade/sell the phones in knowing there are issues which won’t get caught by the middleman, and you are stuck with a lousy phone with no warranty.

On this topic where can you sell your used iphone? In the old days, I would sell my phone in 2 minutes on Amazon but now Amazon became communist and basically prohibits people from selling on there unless they have signed up and paid for a business Amazon account. I was told to sell it on swappa but it explicitly states you can’t list it if there is any cracks and mine has a minor crack in the lower left corner of screen.
