I received my free copy of the magazine today. Although I’m appreciative for a free copy, I won’t be subscribing. In my humble opinion, I feel like it’s very much ‘over the top’ with the “just let Hashem handle it”, with a lot of invalidation around “you have zero to worry about, Hashem controls everything”. It really does ring me the wrong way; perhaps comes across as too childish, or just unrealistic. I personally and (rightfully so) don’t tell folks who got divorced, lost a loved one, were laid off from their jobs- “Don’t get angry, Hashem runs the world”.
The point of the magazine is to bring Hashem into your life. When you realize that Hashem loves you and is taking care you, your life will be a changed. Your worries, fears and anger fall away.
I lost my father suddenly and this magazine kept me and my family member’s alive. I have heard from other people who have gone through difficulties and hardships that the magazine has changed their lives for the better.
Eliminating anger, frustration, anxiety, worry and all other negative emptions is not childish. It’s eliminating poison from your system.
Studies have shown that 80% of our thoughts are negative. and we have approx. 60,000 thoughts a day. Do the math and you will see how much negativity plays a role in your day.
We are killing ourselves emotionally!
The paper does not take attempt to excuse ourselves from doing what’s right, it’s just there to give an accurate picture of Who’s truly running the world and how to view everything in the world.
