Sorry to say not practical for a few reasons A)will block your driving view
B)anyone who wears a hat knows the worst place to keep your hat is on the dash as it will get faded from the sun and ruin the color of your black hat
I can’t see how this beats putting your hat into the old crusty trustworthy cardboard box or otherwise into the upgraded hard plastic hat shaped cover box
i have the car one. looks great in the car and doesn’t block the view at all. a lot of people put their hat there just that it always falls when you turn. this takes care of that
actually an amazing product! I’ve had the car edition for a few years. obviously its not meant to leave your hat there a whole day. its great for regular short trips during the day so that your kids (or wife!) don’t sit on it! it goes on the dashboard with ezpass type velcro and actually adds a nice touch to the car. my wife got me the home edition that just came out chanuka last year. similar to the one in the photo. there are also a bunch of nice gedoilim options including R’ Shaye’le which i hope she gets me this this year for chanuka! looks nice on the wall when there’s no hat and a convenient place to hang it instead of laying around
The gedolim option is great, now anyone can choose which gadol they want to hang their hat on

i actually ran it buy a very prominent rov in lakewood, not only did he say its fine he asked his son to buy him one!
