Urgent: Help Shluchim During Flooding Disaster in Bahia Blanca, Argentina
Right now, a heavy downpour is flooding Bahía Blanca, Argentina, and the local Chabad Shluchim, Rabbi Shmuel and Shterni Freedman, along with their four young kids, are trapped on the second floor of their home. With no way out and rising water levels, they’re stuck without power and unable to access their kitchen.
The streets are completely submerged, making it nearly impossible to evacuate. Just a few blocks away, their Chabad House has been severely damaged, and its food pantry, which serves tens of families and the elderly each week, has been wiped out.
These are the people who always give to others, and now they desperately need OUR help! With their phones on battery saver mode and hours left before Shabbos, they’re doing everything they can to stay safe and check on their community.
They urgently need support to restock essential supplies, restore their home and Chabad House, and provide aid to everyone in the community who is struggling. This is a critical moment, and your generous donation will help them recover and continue their work of helping others in this time of dire need.
Please keep the entire Jewish community of Bahía Blanca in your prayers for their safety and strength. And if you can, please open your heart and donate – your support will make a big difference for them and for all those they help.

What was the insurance’s response?
I’m sure they are trying to help too! This was a first mass natural disaster of this sort.
They sent a message in response to your question, dont understand it maybe its in spanish:
משנחנת עדר מרבין בתמחה
The situation is still unfolding.
The city has no electricity and shut down.
Also they whole city will be claiming insurance. And it’s Argentina not US
thats why they shouldnt live in the middle of no where
Huh?
Until you need their services (or all the others around the world)
These are people who literally live in mesirus nefesh for their fellow Jews. Their whole lives are for others. They are not living there for personal pleasure.
Please elaborate on why exactly they shouldn’t be living there and also let us know why you aren’t out there being Moiser Nefesh for Yidden while you are it. Also, please be considerate and write in proper English so that we can understand you.
