Is there anyway to book the cruise cabin separately and then just add on the kosher meals for $560/660?
On Princess, no – you have to book through Dalia Stelzer.
On Royal, yes- but highly recommend booking through a kosher knowledgeable travel agent. My pricing is the same or better as direct and I can guide you through the ins and out of cruising, including adding you to my special whatsapp group for your sailing, where you will be notified when to book shows, rseerve your check-in time. etc.
“affordable”
What’s the actual price?!?
If you click on the form, you can see sample pricing and if you want a quote, please fill out the form. While kosher traveling is never “cheap”, these kosher cruises run directly by the cruise lines are a great price for what you’re getting.
Is there anything like this that is chalav yisrael?
Yes…stay home. The more people ask for Uber kosher items like bait yosef meat the price goes up.. if you are that machmir, then don’t go on a cruise.
On Princess’ inaugural cruise in January they were very cholov Yisroel friendly. Reach out to me at traveljourneyllc@gmail.com and I can share more info.
To clarify- Royal Caribbean uses CY cheese but not milk or yogurt products. Therefore, most dairy dishes like omelets and pizza would be CY. You can ask the kosher staff on board to let you know which items may or may not have milk in it (most don’t). Ice cream is not CY. On Princess, they don’t cook at all with milk, so all cooked items will be CY, but yogurts etc. may not be .
Nice Gavi even on vacation you are asking to be FRUM YID. Very Nice.
Do they have separate swimming?
lol its a cruise with the general population. They aren’t closing the pool for separate swimming unless the entire cruise was privately booked
If anyone is interested, I wrote up our Fresh Kosher dining experience on the same August cruise from Port Liberty on Royal Caribbean last year; you can find it on the Royal Caribbean Blog’s forum via this short link: ezor.org/freshkosher. (Tl;dr: it was *great* and we’ve already booked another for next year.)
What happens shabbos? Doors, etc?
