Most people spend four years and tens of thousands of dollars to earn a BA degree. We know that in today’s economy not everyone can afford that. In addition many find the college experience to be a waste of the most precious commodity, time. This is why Yesod Yosef designed the fastest and cheapest way for young bochurim or adults to earn a Bachelor of Science In Liberal Arts in addition to other available degrees.

Glad to see someone is looking out for our future generation. Its about time someone figured out an easy way to get straight to graduate school. Undergrad degrees really are a waste of time.
is it possible to get b.a. in accounting in that time frame
I love how we figure out the system in its entirety.
Accounting is one of the most time consuming bachelors to earn. You would have to get approximately 60 credits on your own, towards an accounting degree. That can be either at Excelsior or any other college and then transfer those credits to Excelsior. Once you have those 60 credits already Yesod Yosef can help you earn the remaining 60 credits as quickly and efficiently as possible to complete your degree.
Is it possible to earn a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology in 6-18 months?
Is there a info website that would have a list of the degrees offered to help us get some more info on this?
It would be nice if a girl had some options…anyone know of any?
I have my undergrad degree from Excelsior College and had no prob getting into graduate school.
what grad school did u get in2?
@excelsior hater
Did u get declined trying to get in to any specific grad school?
any bochur learning for 3/4 years at morristown, 770, miami (maybe others) are automatically eligible for a bachelors degree in talmudic studies. the yeshivos might charge for it. mine from morristown was $25.00 (this was about 10 years ago)
I got my degree in accounting through cope in a very short time and very easily. Ya the degree is from excelsior, but I was able to pass the cpa exams and now the degree doesn’t make a difference. It is a great program and they have mens and womens classes.
@ hendel
I don’t know about 10 years ago, but now, 770 will only give u a BA if u learn there for 2 years plus do smicha there. Morristown will only give u a BA if u learn there for 2 years. dono about miami but LA is a real pain to get a BA from, if its even possible anymore. dealing with the Rosh is not an easy experience.
@Cholentfresser: I just met a 2nd year law student at Columbia University, who told me his Undergrad degree is from the lubavitch yeshiva in Miami

@jj1000
it sounds like your advertising for them, do you work for yesod yosef?
@joey:
You can read more at the dansdeals fourm about this http://www.dansdeals.com/forums/index.php?topic=7818.0 I do not work for, not related to, and do not profit from this in any form.
I was in a yeshiva that messed me over in regards to earning a BA. Then I found this amazing program that many people do not believe is possible or legit. I want to help people and let them know about this program, and I hope it will help others as much as it has helped me.
When you go to a school that has done wonders for you I would assume that you too would have the decency of promoting it to other people. Hence I am promoting Yesod Yosef for the schools sake, and even more so for someone else who finds themselves in a similar situation that I was in.
There are a couple similar programs with Excelsior (and other colleges) with other yeshivas as well to get an accelerated BA. For women, if I’m not mistaken Rebbetzin Bulka has a program together with Long Island University. Additionally, the majority of mainstream yeshiva gedolas/beis medrish programs in the US offer BTLs. The *general* policy for most places is they will accept two years of yeshiva study in Israel plus two years spent in their yeshiva to give the degree. Depending what field you want to go into, BTLs are certainly usable…not just for law school. While Yesod Yosef’s program is exactly what is says it is, it is certainly not the *first* or a revolutionary to be doing this.
@Excelsior hater
I am a rising 3rd year law student at a top ranking law school, and my undergrad degree is from Excelsior.

I imagine that at an interview for a job, you wouldn’t say, “I’m at U of M, but you should know that I could have gone to GULC too.” Be proud of where you are! Its a good school, and saying that you could have gone to a better school does nothing to further your prestige or attractiveness to employers!
