I never missed a purchase, sign in with 2 browsers and have 2 credit cards on file, so if the system freezes on one just go to the other browser while the other one reloads. You do need to enter the CVV code so have it handy. I hope this helps.

You need Hashgacha Pratis. And the Mint may have it’s own ways of operating that 17 computers, 90 browsers with cleared cookies and 250 IP addresses won’t figure out.

How do you get to 313?
I think the $200 commission + 2.25 points per dollar (when redeeming through the reserve) = $200 + ~11,250 UR points. That’s ~313… but it’s actually more because I just multiplied it by 5000 and not the $5060
It’s only 7,500 rewards points, but it can translate to $112.50 if transferred to Sapphire Reserve card, thanks though for that explanation!
On a new Amex card it’s probably not smart to put this charge on there correct? Cuz it will possibly trigger fr? Is that correct or only very large purchases?

No spending treshold on AMEX since february. Be careful on that one.
Seems like a very low payout for a large investment. I know many people have used them previously and have only great experiences, non the less it’s a low loss to risk ratio.
You can run around looing for more money, but what a reliable buying group gives you is an easy safe transaction, with an insured label and a good reputation etc.

They generally ship it with UPS with a required over 21 signature. Unless your UPS guy doesn’t follow the rules.
I did one of these a few months ago for a new cc spending threshold. My family thought this was a scam (I am married to a prosecutor who handles fraud cases) and very hinky. That said: The process of purchasing the coin(s) and shipping it to PFS is cumbersome. However PFS paid me pretty quickly and the check cleared.

Same error. The issue was you rushed when it was calculating the credit card info. You needed to wait for step #3 to finish loading (the credit card part) and then part #4 (shipping confirmation) would move up the screen. I had this issue 3 times before realizing you need to wait. Then on my 4rth attempt it worked.
The system was definitely a lot better than before. I was able to do the entire process with only one hiccup in about a minute and a half

My package arrived empty in my mailbox. I filed a certificate of non receipt 10 weeks ago, and finally now, the mint is saying it’s rejecting my claim because it was delivered. (An empty box was delivered). I’ve disputed with my credit card company, but the Mint says they will send me to collections if I prevail with my credit card company. Unbelievable.
FYI, I shipped and just cashed my check!
