Tomorrow – Thursday, March 11th – at 12:00PM ET the US Mint will be releasing five limited edition “American Eagle” products. PFS will be running a deal on two of the products: The Four-Coin Set and the One Ounce Gold Eagle coin.
Each has a purchase limit of one per household, so you’re able to buy one of each.
The cost of the Four-Coin Set will be $4,410.00. After including the $4.95 shipping charge, each Four-Coin Set order will total $4,414.95.
We will pay you $4,615.00 for each Four-Coin Set – for a profit of $200.05 per order.
The cost of the One Ounce Gold Eagle coin will be $2,375.00. After including the $4.95 shipping charge, each One Ounce Gold Eagle coin order will total $2,379.95.
We will pay you $2,480.00 for each One Ounce Gold Eagle coin – for a profit of $100.05 per order.
You will have each order shipped to your own house or office and then ship it to PFS Buyers Club with a prepaid shipping label that we will provide for you.
This is also a great opportunity to earn valuable points/miles on your credit cards, as well as meet any spending thresholds.
For all the deal details and terms, as well as the ability to opt in to this deal, please login to your account at pfsbuyersclub.com and click the “Current Deal” page.
We require everyone who opts into this deal to ship their coin to PFS after purchase. There are a limited number of spots needed. If you plan on opting in, please make sure you can fulfill your end of the agreement to its entirety.
Note: PFS Buyers Club takes full and sole responsibility for the reimbursement of these coins. That includes thousands of happy participants from numerous past deals posted on DansDeals!
Note: AMEX has updated their rules to say that purchases of coins may be coded as a cash advance and may not earn miles.

@Dan did the AmEx limits on Mint purchases go into effect this year, I think I remember you mentioned caps in a post last year
Here we go again
Anyone with an estimate of how much something like this will go for on eBay? Is it similar to the one from last year?
Is PFS legit? how long does it take to get the money anyone with detailed info please advise.
Within a few hours (Same day) after they receive it. At least in most cases that I anticipated.
Will the profits be taxed? 😉
Are they trustworthy? Do you personally vouch for them? I dont get how it works sounds fishy why dont they just buy it themselves? Can I get arrested if I do this? I also think there might be a question of Ribbis in here somewhere.
There is a limit per household, about ribis, consult your rabbi, I mean how do you buy anything – grocery clothing – when they charge you more than what they paid, is the question more just because they asked you to buy it?
Ribbis would be an issue if he’s paying more if you agree to accept the payment later. In this case he’s using you to circumvent the 1 per household limit that the US Mint has, and you are essentially selling him the coin you buy. You can get arrested for doing this if you steal someone else’s credit card to buy the coins:) otherwise you have a right to buy just the same way anyone else does. Once you buy it’s yours to do with it as you see fit, including selling it to Aron Pinson (for those of you who read Ami magazine, he’s often been featured as one of the “moguls” in BizTank, so there you have a name and a face if that makes you more comfortable).
So, What card is the best to use, Citi double cash? Amex Business Plus? anything else?
I use double cash. Amex cards may have an issue as written on the bottom of this sponsored post.
They are legit. I’ve done many deals. Totally honest. They ask others to do it because these deals involve limits on purchasing per household. I don’t see why ribbis would be a concern in this case as no money is being lent.
The ones asking about Ribbis need to get back to the Bais Medrash and do some chazzarah. They obviously dont know what the halachos is or what it applies to. If a mashgiach of a restaurant asked if Iceberg lettuce is kosher, then I’d run out of there.
Are there any fees if it does code as cash advance?
Ribbis…ha go back to Beis medrish
sold out
Did it work for anyone?
Yup, I got a bunch 😀
You have the advertiser’s CC info if this doesn’t work 😛
LOL
I’ve tried multiple times and after the checkout I was moved to a broken link
Yup, just had to keep trying.
Exactly my issue. It happened four times on each of two accounts.
how fast is your internet speed?
Not fast, just 50.
wow.. mine is 250 but couldn’t get it to work… darn it!
Was about perseverance, just kept resubmitting quickly when I hit a roadblock.
That’s where they all went! Were you able to get anything better than double cash or chase 1.5% (aside from commissions or resale profit)? I did double cash.
what are you doing with yours? and to whom might you sell it to?
Yes got it
Errored out for me at the last step of checkout multiple times on each of two accounts, before both items sold out.
Colossal waste of time. Sold out in 2 seconds.
Fake news. I got 3 sets between 12:04-12:07.
Dan, i just Realized about Amex code change, will I be charges for cash advance?
or just noe earn the reward?
If it codes as cash advance you would be charged interest until you pay it back, hence the warning in the ad.
But let us know how it codes please!
The charge comes up in my Amex acct as: DIRECT RESPONSE
http://www.adrfco.org
Warning About Amex change should have been a little earlier in the post or in red…. ;(
It’s an ad, not a post.
Try calling AMEX and ask if it’s a purchase or cash advance charge?
i di a live chat, got this response;
As per the charge, it is purchase transaction so once Merchant will claim the charge as purchase, it will be general purchase not Cash Advance.
got the same reply from csr. Hopefully it is not a CA
and this,
I would humbly request you to please let the charge post as it is government service charge and once it will post, we will check it for you however for now it shows as general purchase so it will post as Merchant will claim.
Nice, hopefully it posts as a purchase.
Good news: it triggered my sign up bonus with amex, so i assume it didn’t code as cash advance.
I used my amex too and it initially showed up as a pending charge from DIRECT RESPONSE, but now that pending charge has disappeared. There is nothing else listed on my statement/transaction list, the amount is also not calculated in my balance. What does this mean?
did you recieve the order?
Same for me and then this morning the charge reappeared and fully posted. Oddly enough, when I view my statement on my computer it shows as DIRECT RESPONSE but on my phone it shows up as US MINT COIN SALES. I chatted with an Amex rep and they told me that it did not code as cash advance and I would earn points and pay no extra interest or fees on it.
Points posted on Delta Amex haters!
You won’t earn points, plus you will be charged interest from the date of purchase. So you need to make a payment for the purchase immediately upon posting- ie do NOT wait until statement close like we do for normal purchases.
But yes, please report back on if it actually coded as a cash advance if you can…
Sold out.. I got as far as the last step, but it didn’t work.. I think it is a myth or legend that doesn’t exist like Rtx 3000 series
In for 2 sets and 1 single coin.
I got 1 of each around 12:03-12:05- had to have a little patience and let the site load without trying to refresh or anything else. Got 2 errors before my first order went through…
I went for the single gold ounce. Got it at about 12:04. Kicked me out twice on final step of purchase. Third time was the charm. Used an iPad. I expect most of the heaviest traffic was going for the sets.
I got one of each.. between 12:05-12:08
Kept trying… No success until it sold out. Congrats to all who succeeded!
Crash people are now selling these for what the mint charged on EBAY. Minus the 10% Ebay fee equates to a big loss
Gut vuch! Isnt it wierd that if i ordered 1 four coin set and 1 1 oz set that i have a pending charge for the four coin set and an additional 2 charges for the 1 oz set?
Anyone know if you can still opt in? Or completely full.
How does PFS pay you?
