Very important to note the following with Autel home chargers. The JCP&L EV program and incentive (for New Jersey residents), does not work with this charger as they don’t have a compatible network to share charger data. Unfortunately I found out the hard way after it was already installed and having issues returning it (as it is used and after 30 days). It could be this is why they are selling so cheap now.
Same story here with ChargeUp but it is on the list listed as MAXI US AC LW12
And is listed on Amazon as Model Number Maxi US AC LW12
I did contact Autel and they claimed that it is eligible
But it won’t qualify for JCPNL rebate or most utility incentives because it’s not OCPP complaint so it can’t share data with them
So because I got messed up with the Autel charger that ended up not being network compatible with the NJ JCP&L EV Program, I bought a Chargepoint charger which has a very good rating and provides their own network.. I bought it on Amazon 10 days ago for $549 and just noticed now that its on Black Friday sale for $439.. In case you want to look it up and post.. Chargepoint HomeFlex Level 2 EV Charger NACS, Hardwire Electric Car Charger (for Tesla).
