allow me to offer some advise. not worth buying.
i run a camping gemach to lend tents and have put up ,taken down an re-packed many tents. i have concluded that the better tents are worth the money. these walmart tents are going to end up in the garbage.
watch REI outlet site or even go to ebay and spend the money on a good quality tent.
i have probably thrown in the garbage a $ 1000 worth of these cheaper tents.
dan – keep up the good work.

@eli: Eli, how do you think Coleman tents are in comparison? Thank you in advance for getting back to me.
Item not available for pickup or delivery in California…
how much does this usually sell for? Is it even a good deal?
Eli, Thanks for the info about not getting cheap tents, can you follow up with listing some recommended models to get?
Eli,
Where is your gmach located?
i run a camping gemach in baltimore. the purpose is to introduce camping to frum families. camping works for frum people for several reasons. 1 -more spiritual and into nature 2 easier to cook kosher. remember it is not nice to bar-b-q in a motel parking lot. 3- more affordable financially. imagine the cost to a family of spending 3 nights in niagara falls and needing 2 rooms. it adds up.
the coleman tents are the same junk as the walmart ones. we have been happy with the REIs but my favorite is a kelty. we try to buy tents rated for 5 people and ones that are 6′ tall to facilitate davening.
the better tents are better in every way. material is easier to move around, the sticks are metal instead of plastic and they will get back into the bag.
the better tents try to please you in every way possible. these cheap tents are for people who do not really get the issues and are designed to cut corners in every way possible
let me know if there are any more questions
