you mean “brand new 787”
More like Yom Kippur and Sukkos
How much is biz class?
@jr:
Indeed.
@Coralsnake:
True, though with the way it falls out this year that’s going to be how most people travel.
@Jack:
You can search that on Priceline as well.
I would not want to land in Tel Aviv 11am Erev Yom Kippur- any delay and you’re stuck somewhere else for yom kippur.
@YKippur:
It arrives 7.5 hours before Yom Kippur and there’s a healthy 2.5 hour connect time in Baku. I wouldn’t be worried about that.
Worst case scenario though is you daven at Chabad of Baku:

Any chance theres something from Miami to Israel?
@Dan:
We are traveling BOS-ZRH-TLV motsei YK (3 hours after shofar), but I agree: not many options for flying between YK and Sukkos this year, given Shabbos.
Any Lag Baomer deals from Manchester to Israel
How do I add a Lap Infant?
What will they charge?
@YKippur: where’s zaidy…
I flew with them recently.
They indeed fly the new 787 which is a pleasure to fly with. But from Baku to Tel Aviv they have old planes operating the route.
the kosher food was heter mechira and under the a random hashgocho that I’ve never heard of, so I’ll pack some kosher food for the flight.
Overall i recommend them, especially because of the price – value ratio
@Dan: I believe US citizens need a visa for Baku but hopefully the Chabad rabbi would be able to help get you a visa if needed.
when i put in children the price goes up
@Jay:
Book a seat for the child. Safer. Child can sleep in a carseat and you don’t have to hold the kid for countless hours.
@abe:
So just book them as adults.
Birthdays on a ticket are meaningless. My kids fly on Avios tickets as 102 and 104 year olds.
@Dan’s the Man: Chabad Rabbis are not travel agents. Please don’t Chabad Shluchim with your travel needs, local restaurant, hotel and visa Info. They have better things to do with their time.
@Hello:
He was talking about help on erev yom kippur if there would happen to be a massive delay.
why is it coming out to $750 when i do it on priceline?
@danfan5773:
For which dates?
The price goes up if all the cheap seats are sold.
Price went up to $800.
These are amazing! Since I can’t use points for the WA though for Sukkot I just booked Pesach instead. Totally unrelated but I didn’t know where to post. I just booked tickets from ORD-TLV on Air France for $713 RT for the best dates for Pesach (Apr 5-19) and they also have from Toronto for $643 for Pesach. I found good business class seats from BOS and IAD for around $1000 one way on European Carriers (and even points tickets in J on Turkish from a bunch of cities). Since it’s so far out they’re not showing up on all the search sites and you need to go to the European airlines sites directly.
@Dan H, I’m looking for a good deal to Ukraine for week of Shevuos?
Just flew with them from Israel. Pilot made a shortstop in JFK, they give ammenity kits even in economy. Their website is impossible to work with. Had to call Azerbaijan office to reserve seats and phone bill was high…
The times as well are a bit rough, but this is the price…
No way I’m flying with a foreign no name airline,I don’t care what the price. I want an Israeli or US pilot.
Need help booking a business class award flight from Lisbon Portugal to JFK on or about 3/18/17. Only availability I’m finding is with BA with huge fees. Checked AA and BA sites. Any help would be greatly appreciated. For some strange reason there appears to be no Iberia business class flights available when usually its wide open. thanks.
I went on this airline to tel Aviv and loved it…the staff was amazing and the connection flight went easy and fast..very efficient.. comfy seats and new…
@Dan
One more ticket is still available. It seems that this 2 1/2 layover Erev Shabbos/Chag flight is common. I know you said one shouldn’t be worried about missing the connection, but have you heard of that happening in the past? Would the airline fly you out on a Motzei Yom Kippur flight, or redirect you through Turkey (there is a flight that goes there at 8:45 am) if the flight gets delayed?
Thanks!
670 is back available for 10/11/16-10/2616
if you book thru flightnetwork.com a canadian site, it comes out a bit cheaper because of the cad-usd exchange.
