How I can use it from new York?
June 10 is a Shabbos flight, June 13 is Yomtov
BOS-TLV RT is about $860, Turkish, Swiss, maybe others, departing August 30 and returning either end of November or end of March (the furthest out that Priceline can book.
@A:
You can either fly to Chicago, DC, or Miami to start the flight and not take the final leg.
Or you can book a multi-city starting from NYC and ending in one of those cities and then don’t take the final leg to get a somewhat cheaper ticket than a nonstop.
@ExGingi:
Hopefully people check their calendars before booking.
@zow:
Worth the splurge to pay $1,850 for Turkish business for BOS-TLV if you can swing it.
So it says for August 6 fly out of Washington to connect in lga then an airport change to jfk?? Can I just start in JFK or do I have to start in Washington? Also what happens once u get to lga from dc?
You’re the best Dan!!
@Tony:
If you miss a leg then the rest of your ticket is cancelled, thus you can only skip the final leg.
If the ticket you find involves an airport change then you would have to find your own way to the next airport.
Where do I park cheap in WAS, otherwise it’s as expensive as direct?
@Benny:
Find free street parking and take an Uber?
Alternate side?
@@Dan:
I’m from Cleveland, we don’t have such a creature designed just to raise revenue from people who sleep in.
I’m sure there’s a place you can find to park for 2 weeks without issue if you’re willing to Uber from there.
Can I take a pickup a flight in JFk instead of starting off in Miami(the start point)? Would I be able to put luggage underneath?
live in ny and don’t want to start the flight in dc or Chicago?
find someone going anyways from dc or Chicago to ny and have them fly the first leg as you
Anyone know what dates are valid for LAX-TLV?
Thanks so much!!!!
Dan, Thank you so much for posting this deal! We have a wedding in Israel on the 11th of July and we live in the DC area-I can’t figure out how to make this work for the deal. I see there aren’t any flights there from DC before the 11th – any ideas? Thank you!!!

booked 7 tickets parking here is cheap
Does Delta allow hidden ticket bookings? person on the phone just said they would cancel it if you don’t arrive at the first location
@sheri:
No, if you skip a flight then all subsequent flights are cancelled.
@devory:
Use Google flights.
@Rivky:
Might be out of luck, check on google flights.
@ken:
You can’t skip the first leg on a hidden city, you can only skip the last leg.
How does luggage work if you skip the last leg?
@Me:
Federal law requires that you pick up your bags at the first stop in the US, in this case JFK, even if the bags are tagged to another city.
You can recheck the bags after that if you want, but nobody will make you.
I have a 5 month baby, how can I book for him?
@Dave:
Are you booking a seat for him?
I don’t wa nt to, but Priceline says I need to for international flights
I put in on priceline.com Aug 29 from WAS to TLV and coming back home Sept 8th and it came up $790 and up??? Not even going to JFK. It goes to Amsterdam or other countries???
@Dave:
I’d highly recommend buying a seat and bringing along a car seat. It’s far safer for the child in case of turbulence and it makes for a much more pleasant flying experience for everyone. Plus many carseat experts say you should never check your carseats.
But if you really don’t want to, try Orbitz:
http://www.dansdeals.com/go/orbitz3/
@avremi:
If you can go August 30th it’s currently $775 via JFK both ways.
Otherwise August 29th via JFK is available for $800, just scroll down.
Dan: I understand. But you say $745 how?? @Dan:
fantastic. never thought I would acctually get a benefit form dans deals as there is always a date problem or technicality i cant overcome. usually not fast enough and they are sold out. well today fortunately my wife was right there so i could get her collaboration and pay without fear i made a bad date choice. we got two round trip tickets chicago to tel aviv. leaving early july return early sepptember. round trip for 2@ $1500.00 and paid for 1000 with chase points. so happy to pay $300.0cash for a great trip if its not boiling hot. -:).
@avremi:
It varies by date.
August 30-September 7 is $745.
July 25-August 3 is $735.
@mike f:
Enjoy!
I need flights for ten people leaving July 11 th to tel aviv and comming back August 15th I live in nyc would this deal aply to me ? My parents live in Miami and need the same dates as I do ? @dan
I booked a flight on delta.com yesterday at 7. it is a little past 24 hours and it is now cheaper. can I get refunded the difference?
sheri, go to the confirmation email they sent you click print itinerary and click cancel flights it should work!
i just got for $695 and canceled my old tickets!
can i call up delta and ask them to cancel my flight from iad to jfk and then fly straight from jfk?
NO. you cant – they will charge you a reissue fee plus difference of fare.
Buy JFK-TLV and return to IAD etc. VIA JFK.. it should be around $995 – still considered very cheap for R/T NY to TLV in summer season
When flying MSP – LGA- YYZ
Would need to re check luggage at LGA? since international?
would like access to luggage at LGA
Thanks
Thanks Dan just booked 3 tickets ORD to TLV Aug 16-Aug 24 for $666 per person WOW
Thanks for posting this!
I live in NY so I was thinking about taking a “day trip” to DC and then taking a DC flight that has a long layover in JFK so I (can go home in between and) won’t have to shlep my luggage to DC. Would that work? In other words, can I check luggage on the JFK-TLV leg if I’m not checking on the DC-JFK leg? I saw what you wrote above about federal law re claiming luggage, I just wanted to clarify…
Found $681 Delta from Baltimore for summer bain hazman thru yom kippur. DCA/DL2048-JFK-TLV-JFK-BWI. Lv Jul 31, return Oct 10. Hmmnn, do I really do it? Hmnnn.
Does it work from TLV ?
Does this offer include a trip from Tel Aviv (July 11th or 12th) to Newark (July 18th or 19th)? Round trip for 2 adults.
there is a deal from LA/miami/washington to israel is there a deal the other way around?
we are a group of a few sisters that want to go to a wedding in lakewood, we dont mind going to washigton or boston (we will get to lakewood by car from there), the wedding is around the 16th of aug, we want to stay for 2 weeks (we will be about 7 people), do you have got prices. this will be a very big Mitzva for us thank you
If I want to leave from JFK I should book a ticket from another location (Chicago, Miami) to Israel and then book a second ticket from JFK to that location? I am totally clueless when it comes to booking tickets!
@Dan any suggestions on departing from ATL?
Can it work for a one-way from America?
Can it be even cheaper for one-way?
Does this work from TLV to US?
I would like to leave from Dc (WAS) on Sept. 4 and return any day(Because I will be extending the ticket anyway). I tried various return dates anf the cheapest that I found was $892. Whatshould I do @dan?
@Dan:
All business classes out of BOS (UA, DL, AF, LX, LH, AZ, ect) are about $2000.
@Y:
You can either do that, or book JFK-TLV-ORD on Delta for a lesser discount. The return flight will stop in JFK, you’ll be able to get your baggage, and you can skip the JFK-ORD connection.
i need a flight from FLL (miami) to Israel one way, there are some good deals? someone can help me? thank you very much guys, hashem yevarech otchem
@Esther:
Not sure what you’re talking about. This is $696, like Dan said.
Any hotel deals in Israel?
@Baruch:
The golden rule of one ways tends to be “Use miles”.
thanks dan just saved over 1000 from fridays already reduced booking on 7 tickets
Two questions.
1) Traveling with an infant. Priceline did not support booking infants on an international flight (their words). Anyone know if I can book and then add the baby afterwards directly at Delta but keeping the deal
2) really only need one way. Can get Aeroflot via Moscow for more or less danger price but with 2 bags. So would be paying around $600 more to go Delta with 2 bags. I have never flown Aeroflot. Flight has a 3 hour layover in Moscow. Budget is important but if there compelling reasons I will spring for the extra. Any advice
Is it safe to travel on Turkish airlines with an Israeli passport? ( we also have American ones) I heard that recently there have been stories in turkey with Israelis. That is the cheapest airline for the dates I need, but am kind of scared to travel through turkey…. Anyone has any info?
I am trying WAS to TLV 9/4 and returning 3/28 but getting Delta fare of $1714. Help.
Thanks
Can I cancel my flight directly through delta’s site?
@ Baruch – Yes you can call Delta after and add the infant or just have Delta make the entire trip over the phone (they will not charge you any more than doing it online).
All of these flights can also be booked via Delta.com and also have a 24 hour cancellation period.
@Baruch:
Go Aeroflot, it is an awesome airline, good quality planes, good service. They like kids! Moscow is BH pretty safe!
Prices have dropped for Los Angeles too. On Friday, the cheapest I found was $852 and it was before school ends, now there are cheaper fhlights – $823, in August which was way over $1000 before shabbos. Thanks Dansdeals!
Can someone help direct me, I’m trying to depart on August 16 from New York(Am willing to fly to D..C or Chicago earlier that day if its cheaper) and returning on August 18th. When I’ve searched it up the prices are close to 2000, can anyone help? Very important to book soon
Is anyone going from New York to Washington DC on August 15th to catch the flight to Tel Aviv? I booked a ticket but not sure how I would get to Washington DC?
Echoing Bracha’s question, is it possible to not check a bag on the WAS-NYC and then check on the JFK-TLV leg? Very interested to know if this could work?
@Dan
I was planning on buying a one-way because I’m staying for 10 months.
If I buy a cheap return date and then change the ticket, will I get much value for it?
It’s currently ~$100 more than buying one way on Aeroflot. Will I get at least that from Delta on a change?
@Dan: Can I book on priceline with an infant or is my only option to go with orbitz?
@Baruch- I just added my infant from iad to jfk to tlv and back for $86.26 by calling Delta
Can I book this ticket for myself on priceline and then call delta to add an infant under a year?
Did you originally booked on priceline or with delta directly?
$680 x 3 departing DCA 7/16 returing BWI 7/26. Theat fare is no longer available when I checked to see if I could change a date
@Dan: I am trying to book from DCA to TLV and I got all the way to the purchase page and neither Priceline nor Delta would accept my credit card. I tried another cc and it did not go thru either. I then called Delta and the rep told me that both my ccs were not approved ( even though there was plenty of credit on both of them). I called my cc company and they didn’t understand it. I was not able to book. Have you come across this before and was anyone still able to book the $685 price?
@ Avi: I booked the original tickets from priceline, but i think that they’re the same price directly from delta
i would like to book for three from washington DC. is there a stopover?
Looking from CHI on June 22-27. does not look like this deal is available for these dates. Is this correct?
I’m trying to book for a family of 8.
Total Cost: $5,563.12
Cost Per Person: $695.39

from IAD-JFK-TLV roundtrip. Then from EWR-IAD (I’m from NY)

Is it worth the hassle with a family, or should I pay more and just travel non-stop?
The IAD-JFK-TLV departs at 7:00 pm, what time should I make a connecting fligt for EWR-IAD:(Any help would be appreciated)

It looks like going thru Chicago is cheaper. Its $685 + $75 one way to Chicago ( + both Washington and Chicago one ways have a $25 baggage fee – 1st bag)
For connecting flights in these situations, how much time should you give yourself between flights? (the one way to the roundtrip)
Thanks Dan! Just booked three tickets from IAD to TLV in August for $699 each!
Im looking for TLV – MIA – TLV
this doesnt look like it works that route… 🙁
@miamiguy I also wanted tlv-mia-tlv July 3 to 27. Post if you find a deal
I need Beginning August TLV – MIA – TLV end of August… so far nothing
I found for $680 out of Bwi
@College Girl
Would be cheaper to drive to IAD using a one way rental, should save you about $800.
DEAD
this deal still alive ?
bait and switch! i entered all our names and clicked confirm to reserve and they said that they’re raising the price from 3800 for 5 tickets to 5600! what the heck? they are horrible.
dates from washington to tlv july 18-aug 30.
@eli: no
Any deals to TLV from either MIA/ FLL on July 10-Aug14?
@Dan If we go to DC but don’t check luggage on the DC-NYC flight, can we check in JFK for the JFK-TLV leg?
Also, leaving TLV, how can we ensure that our luggage will get off with us at JFK and not go to DC? Is this what you said about the Federal law?
@Bracha:
1. Yes.
2. It’s automatic. You don’t have to say a thing, nor should you say a thing.
@Dan i am trying to book for my parents for Aug 15 – 31. is that available from Washington? It isnt working for me
Anyone going lag bomer with this airline?
is this deal dead? it’s only showing $1200 prices to israel thru delta.
Dan,
I’m trying to cancel the tickets but don’t see an option to cancel. I only have 45 min left. Can you help me?
@Fan:
Try opening this itinerary in another browser or call them.
Thanks a lot. Different browser worked like a charm.
@dan we live in NY and booked the flight through DC, do we recheck our bags at JFK? Can we not check them in DC and then check them when we get to JFK? How does this work?
Hey Dan, trying to get LAX – TLV – LAX flight and every date I try comes out to be over $1000 each round trip. I want to go from July 5th until August 18th (+/- 7 days flexibility).
Help a brother out. Thanks!
Hi, is this deal still alive?
We want to fly DC-TLV Aug 15 and return Aug 31 – supposedly the tickets are available for those dates but I could not find them.
Please update? Thanks!
Is this deal still alive I cannot find anything for the low price?
I live in the NYC area and am leaving to Israel from Washington, DC with stop in JFK. Any ideas on how I can get off in JFK on the return trip??
