Daily Getaways starts today and runs through May 6th. You can find the full calendar of offerings via the link above.
At 1pm EDT every weekday there will be another sale, but you’ll have to be really quick. The best ones will sell out in seconds, so you need to be waiting on the page at 12:59pm and refreshing the page.
Some packages that caught my eye:
-On 4/5 you’ll be able to buy Busch Gardens tickets for $45 or Sea World tickets for $50.
-On 4/6 you’ll be able to buy IHG points for as low as .565 cents each, though that’s not as tempting as in past years due to their recent devaluation.
-On 4/20 you’ll be able to buy Hilton points for .5 cents each. Read more on the Hilton program here.
-On 4/21 you can get 2 nights in a Venetian Piazza View suite for $495.
-On 4/22 you’ll be able to buy discounted Hertz points, though some prices have gone up since last year’s deal.
-On 4/26 Loews is selling discounted night certificates at their hotels.
-On 4/27 Alamo will sell $50 rental certificates for $25.
-On 4/28 Fairmont will sell 6 nights with breakfast to their Big Island or Maui resorts for $1,800 and 3 nights with breakfast for their Scottsdale resort for $610.
-On 4/29 you can buy Hyatt points for just 1-1.1 cents each.
-On 5/2 you can buy Avis 1 day rental certificates for $30 each, though they’re not valid in NYC, for one-way rentals, and they have hidden blackout dates. You can also drop $1,115 on a year of Chairman’s status with free upgrades to select specialty cars and free car dropoffs.
-On 5/3 you can buy Marriott gift cards for 20% off.

Do you have to be a member to buy these?
Is there a way to determine what the hidden blackout days are for the Avis rental? I looked at the T&C on the site and it just said that there are blackout dates.
Dan, can you please make the cheshbon for hertz compared to last years..?
T&Cs on the Fairmont deal are iffy; one the main page it says some blackout dates may apply, but if you click into the Terms it says there are no date restrictions, just subject to availability.
@Alex:
No.
@Anonymous:
There’s no list. It’s very annoying.
@Mendel:
I will that day.
@Fairmont:
Typically Fairmont certificates require a base Fairmont room to be available for sale and blackout dates are here:

Regarding the Hertz points, it says that it takes UP TO 10 days for the points to be deposited. How long does it USUALLY take? Considering this for April 25th rental and wondering what the odds are that the points will post before then.
Do you think Cedar Point or Universal Orlando will be among these offerings?
So the Avis coupons are no good for a one way rental?
@Shulammis:
All of the offerings can be found via the link in this post.
@Shmaya:
Correct.
The Hilton points can be really great value if you then use them to reserve rooms using points and cash. A night in the top notch Hilton in Tel Aviv is at least 35% off the cheapest rate if you use cash and [bought] points. Hilton are generally also very good at honoring status even on point and cash reservations which can easily mean you can point and pay for a base level room and, if you got a free Diamond status upgrade, end up in an executive room or a suite. In any event Diamonds get executive lounge privileges including oodles of great kosher food. That effectively means full board for two in a Hilton overlooking the Mediterranean for $265 a night!
Dan, one day you gotta sing about how you got Avis Chairman. You ain’t gonna take it to the grave.
when is the heart giveaway 22 or 15?
